Everything was lovely

Charming little boutique hotel run by a lovely couple. When I arrived, I was very hot and flustered, having followed walking directions from the port up the most difficult and unnecessary route ( thanks, Google maps!). The owner settled me in, gave me restaurant recommendations, and then reappeared moments later with chilled watermelon as a refresher to cool me down. Absolutely what was needed. When I left, he waited with me until my taxi arrived and then made sure my taxi driver knew exactly where to drop me off to make sure I got the right bus to my next destination. Super helpful and friendly. Highly recommend this place.

That we didn't stay another night

Location perfect close to port, the old town and loved the cobbled lane leading to the nicely decorated entrance and rooms, simple and tasteful. Hosts were friendly and helpful. The rooftop space was great for relaxing and eating. We had to leave early to catch the ferry so breakfast was given to us to takeaway.

The location of the property was perfect, in the middle of the center with lots of restaurants, shops and cafes. Only 5 min walk from the port. Even though it’s so central, it’s on a tranquil and beautiful street. Ceyhan, he is the owner was so attentive and helpful. He prepared us packed breakfast as our boat was early in the morning. He was great with communication and there to help with any inquiries. Overall, we love our stay and recommend it.

We had the most wonderful time at Casa Magnolia Boutique Rooms. From the moment we arrived, everything just felt so welcoming and thoughtfully done. The room was beautifully decorated, super clean, and surprisingly cool. The location was perfect for us, close to everything, but still peaceful and quiet at night. What really stood out, though, was the hosts, so kind, helpful, and genuinely invested in making sure we had a great stay. We left feeling refreshed and very well taken care of. Would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

Nothing, for the price it was brilliant. Other reviews mentioned the lack of sound insulation between the rooms so I was aware of that before I arrived.

The owners / proprietors were very helpful and kind. The location is extremely good, on a quiet off-street but very near the centre. The place is spotless and breakfast on the veranda was a nice start to the day. They also had unexpectedly nice shampoo and shower gel products in the bathroom.

Be aware that you will need to go up a steep hill to arrive, with lugagge it can be tough. However it is totally worth it.

Turkish breakfast excellent, served on the roof terrace with a panoramic view of the town. Five minutes walk through the old town to the harbour front and yet relatively quiet in the evening. The room was very clean and comfortably furnished. It had good hanging facilities for clothes and towels. The air-con was very effective. The hosts were friendly and helpful and spoke very good English.

Excellent location in the old town, on a small and very quiet street. The rooms have everything one might need even though the soundproofing is simply non existing. The rooftop terrace is the best place to be. The owner is very helpful and gentle. I would definitely come back

You can hear the noise from the other rooms and I was more concerned about myself, since I was watching some stuff on my laptop, so I had to use ear buds to make sure I am not being disrespectful to the other guests.

Also, our day trip was starting early and the host arranged for packed breakfast, which was a very kind gesture. It is a beautiful place and very close to shops and restaurants and tour pick up point is just 5 min walk

The walk up the steep road and alley to get to and from the hotel was a bit intimidating particularly after a full day of travelling or touring. Although we found it added to the whole authentic experience, I can see that this might be a lot for anyone with physical issues.

The owners are fabulous hosts; so relaxed and will do anything they can for you. Jay has a wealth of local knowledge and is happy to chat and advise about what you might like to do in Kusadasi and beyond. As world travellers, with a life-time of experience in hospitality themselves, these are the perfect hosts. Having breakfast under the bougainvilleas on the sunny terrace, with views of the city is such a special memory to take away. We also love the rooms which are easily twice the size of anything else we've stayed in on our trip. Each room has everything you need plus so much room to move. I also have to mention the location. This is so good! Casa Magnolia is about half way up on the side of the valley that leads to the port. It is a very easy 2 minute walk down into the tourist shops of the port and a 5-10 minute walk across into the more traditional shops and cafes. Also, we chose to make our own way to Ephesus which was easily done on the local mini buses. The bus stop is about a 10 minute walk from the hotel. Buses to Selcuk (then to Ephesus) go about every 15 minutes and everyone is very 'tourist accommodating'.
