We liked everything about this charming family run hotel! The rooms are very nicely decorated and clean, extremely comfortable mattresses! Air conditioning works super well and silent! The area is quiet , no noise - not even from the street by night! The most amazing Turkish style breakfast, prepared with love, very rich - and all local , egg dishes, fruit, pancakes, delicious marmelades , cucumber, tomatoes , many different dips, yoghurt and much more! The staff is very kind, warmhearted, welcoming and very attentive. I asked for lactose free . milk and they organized it immediately. Back from sightseeing in the evening, they welcome you with a big smile and find always kind words!

A great family run hotel in an interesting area of Istanbul. Plenty of restaurants and cafes near Galata Tower. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is varied, beds are comfy and there is a great view of the golden horn area from the 5th floor. Thanks for upgrading our room.

We stayed at Doruk Palas Hotel in Istanbul and really loved everything about it. The room was very comfortable, and one of the best things is the excellent location – just a short walk to two metro stations, Istiklal Street, and Galata Tower. But the real highlight is the wonderful staff. They truly make the difference, always friendly and helpful. Special thanks to Bilal and Mohamed – we are very grateful for everything! We loved our stay at the Doruk Palas Hotel! The location is very central to many of the city highlights and shopping areas yet tucked away in a small, quiet lane way, away from the hustle and bustle. The highlight for my family and I during our stay was the exemplary service and attention. The team at Doruk Palas Hotel went above and beyond to ensure our satisfaction and comfort. They knew all our names from day one and even recommended itineraries, restaurants and the best way to get there - all of which were fantastic! They genuinely cared about us enjoying our stay and that we saw the best that Istanbul has to offer. We also loved Othman (the hotel cat), he greeted us every time we showed up in the lobby and one time even decided to join us in our room, which we welcomed so much and made our stay in the hotel even more memorable. The room was clean and spacious and the breakfast was delicious. Thank you for the amazing, passionate service! We felt right at home.

Our stay at the Doruk Palas Hotel was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by Muhammed and Zaltni, whose kindness and heartfelt hospitality will stay with us long after our return. They went above and beyond to make us feel at home. Our room was spacious and offered a breathtaking view on the Golden Horn. Waking up to that view each morning was pure magic. The bed was incredibly comfortable. The hotel’s location is unbeatable : central yet peaceful, allowing easy access to all of Istanbul’s major sights by foot or public transport. When we return to Istanbul, there is no doubt: Doruk Palas Hotel will be our first and only choice. Highly recommended without hesitation: a true home away from home!

We really enjoyed our stay at Doruk Palas Hotel. The staff, especially front desk manager Gofran is friendly and welcoming. The owner Muhammad is always there and talking to guests every morning. The breakfast is great, although, could start a bit earlier than 8 am. Rooms are clean, modern and spacious. We especially liked the room with sea view. The location is convenient, 7-10 min away from Galata Tower. Highly recommended!

The friendliness, helpfulness, location, chats and interaction with all staff at the hotel, and feeling very welcomed. Our stay was upgraded to Deluxe Double Room with Balcony and Sea View by the very welcoming manager which was an excellent gesture and much appreciated. The room is in good size and comfortable. The view of the Golden Horn, the bridges and the old town from the balcony at night was spectacular.
