Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomThe hotel is cramped in-between several other hotels, and is situated off a busy highway in the middle of nowhere. There is nothing to see outside the hotel - in fact it is quite dirty and derelict along the highway, (the only road to walk along) with several empty buildings next door. There is nothing to see outside of the hotel grounds, so if you are there, you are confined to the hotel space only. The beach space is also confined to the width of the hotel and is share with some of the locals that pass by. The beds are quite hard, and the rooms are very dated, especially the bathrooms. They haven't changed since the 90's. There were so many broken things in our bathroom, we had to ask for a different room, which was only slightly better, but better than nothing. The staff try really hard to be nice, but the lack of English does eventually start to effect one's stay as you stop bothering asking for something as it becomes a chore. The entertainment at night was really good with a variety of international acts. Be mindful that when the hotel is fully booked, there aren't enough spaces for everybody, so expect queues at breakfast, dinner the pool bar and at the waffle stand. As with most other hotels, people book sun loungers at 6 in the morning using their towels, so if you are not willing to have a fight with another guest, don't expect a lounger for the day. The animation team is loud and annoying and can be heard all the way from Malta. Luckily they do not carry on all day, and you will have some peace later on. Many guests at this hotel were not familiar with the European phenomena of queueing when waiting for something, and generally choose to bypass the line to go and stand next to the person at the front to order their thing, which caused mayhem on more then one occasion between European and local guests, so be aware if this is something that could set you off.
The service and food was great with plenty daily options. The views over the sea was great, including the sunsets! The minibar is included and are being refilled daily with cooldrinks, snacks and water. (The booze is only for day 1) The coffee shop is amazing, with lovely cakes, latte's coffees, iced coffees and mochas. The hairdresser in the hotel is amazing, and very reasonable - the whole family had cuts and or highlights. (I have natural highlights, so could skip the hype)

ItalyCheck out was really limited, with no chance to share feedback. We had spent a night away from the hotel due to a hospital trip for our sick infant daughter too, which made the experience feel quite impersonal, similar to our check in. Some staff were really lovely, but perhaps others were less courteous due to the clients they are used to dealing with. Some cocktails made with local spirits, and not the best-tasting. Common areas were not so clean, particularly the baby area, with toys dirty, old and unclean. Gym equipment was very outdated, with resistance machines actually rusted and cables needing greased. Best was as hard as the road.
Food was largely excellent, and the same for the staff. Nice pools and spa, drinks service was quick. Interior and exterior of the hotel is really beautiful. Lovely coffee bar.

FranceCleaning was very superficial. The stuff always forgot that we were three in the room and gave us only two towels. In my stay the bedsheets were not changed. Room was very small, not enough place to keep the clothes for three people, and air conditioner was super noisy.
Good hotel with everything needed inside, food was good, variety of fish and vegetables, vegetarian menu, staff is always helpful and caring. I liked the cafe inside with pastries and different types of coffee

Estonia1.We booked 29 squaremeter room but they gave us 2 times smaller, and no working air conditioner. We demanded the room that we booked. Later we heard from the other couples that the hotel did the same to them also. 2. The lie about rooms availability- wanted to upgrade the room and have with jaccuzzi. In booking, we saw these rooms and were available all dates. At the reception they told that these are fully booked. Then we just showed them that we see those rooms from our phones- and voila, suddenly they made the upgrade to us. 3.The staff was totally incompetent. Every time they forgot the drinks we ordered or did wrong, even when they write down our orders. Very strange. Only 2 bartenders were good, the others didn’t know even how to make classic drinks. Example what they did- whiskey cola without whiskey, several times forgot to bring us drinks altough the hotel was half full, they put lemon acid so much that the coctails were undrinkable. It is pitty that the owners had tried to do everything good but the staff ruins everything. Pier was closed until 20. May.
The hotel was like new. Food was best we have had in Turkey ever. And we have been in Turkey over 10 times, different hotels. Pool was great, specious and enough sunbeds.

IrelandWe have contacted the hotel directly and the only reason we booked was because we were told there are heated pools at this hotel, however it was far from the truth. As we travelled with a small child 1.5 year old and elderly Grandmother who was really looking forward to enjoying warm pool. The pools were all ice cold, all baby pools and slide pools were the same, the sea itself was warmer then the pools, we felt lied to when we got to know the truth about the pools and unfortunately this was a huge factor which played a role in us booking the hotel and it let us down
Loved that there was easy access to the beach, the hotel had a lot o entertainment, great food & drink options, massage deals as well as a great photographer on-site who was always available to do some family shoot.

One of the best hotels we've been. The foods, the beverage and the service were perfect. The staff were very friendly, helpful and polite. They were doing their best to make our holiday perfect. I am recommending the hotel to everyone. Just people who visit it must bring aqua shoes because of the beach.

United KingdomMain buffet restaurant - not enough indoor tables. Limited choice of food during breakfast, lunch and dinner compared to their larger sister hotel Kirman Sidemarin Hotel & Spa in Side. Disappointed that they did not serve Baklava every night of the week. Carbonated drinks did not always have enough CO2, depending on which bar you went to. Limited snack options in Galetta patisserie. Evening live entertainment was only so-so. WiFi was not very stable.
Friendly staff. Spacious bedroom. Mini bar replenished daily. Food Court (self-service) restaurant was good.
