I don’t think it’s a minus but I feel it’s worth mentioning here as well. Just a little hiccup during check in but it was resolved in a professional manner by the right people. I came in early, as I told them on my email, I know I’m early so I’ll just leave my suitcase and head out or have lunch while I wait for my room to be ready. The lady at check in said, oh your room is ready!! Now, I don’t nit pick a lot about things but if you’re supposed to have a Bosphorus View upgrade and was given a room on the second floor ( which I consider the dungeon of hotel rooms!! ) and all you can see are tree tops and pool chairs; the Bosphorus view you have to lean dangerously out of the balcony to see? That gets me annoyed! Went back to the lady at the front desk and was gaslighted with the floor plan of the hotel (which I don’t care to know about!) and her telling me it’s a partial view. I said my reservation didn’t say partial view, so she’s annoyed and I’m annoyed. Thank goodness Engin Zor cut in (thank you for that!!) and made things right for me! I was given the room I was supposed to get (had to wait until proper check in time which I don’t mind anyways). The prompt correction shows how they are on top of their game here. Special shout out to the sweet Ömer Ergun, who made me feel so welcomed (he even offered to make my coffee before he leaves!!) and he’s always on site to give a helping hand!

Stayed here for two days on my last leg of visit to Istanbul. It has been a dream of mine to stay at this hotel!! It is pricey but understandably so! The grounds alone is incomparable to other hotels; it’s massive and beautiful!! The rooms albeit small induces rest and relaxation. Breakfast service is superb and my egg white omelet was always perfect!! It’s always the little extra details and effort to make to make their guest happy that I look for. This hotel made me feel taken cared of! Thank you for the fruit plate was waiting for me when I got back from an all afternoon tour!! I didn’t know I was hungry until I saw it and it tide me over until I can go out again to get food. The beautiful lady ( I’m so sorry I didn’t get your name!!) who cleaned my room probably detected my OCD and went out of her way to make things super nice tidy! I love that she placed sunglasses cloth and cleaners next to my shades and even organized my tangle of wire chargers using a leather tie all neat and organized!! The pool is beautiful and the pizza at the restaurant near the pool is to die for!! It has been a great experience here, I’m putting this hotel on my “repeat stay list”.

Rooms are not value for money. Carpet dirty, views not as expected. Calling side rooms with a “peep” of the sea a “sea view” room is a stretch of the imagination.
