It was a bit warm in the room (we had a small fan that we travel with so wasn’t a problem for us but keep in mind)

Unique lovely rooms (we were in a cave room), nice breakfast, free tea and coffee on terrace, very helpful, kind and sweet people who run the hotel (they helped with balloon, tour and transport bookings). The location is further away from main attractions but nice and quiet, not too far to walk up to shopping centre/town on the hill.

There is a steep hill up to the property. Climbing up the hill was a challenge for us but we’re in our 60s. The young people didn’t have a problem.

We were in a cave! Beautiful atmosphere of the cave. Bed was comfortable. Staff very friendly and helpful. Great breakfast. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay

The location, it was quite uphill. It’s difficult for a big vehicle to get up there. The rooms get really hot sometimes so there was no fan for cooling. It is about 20 mins away from Goreme city centre.

Some of the rooms were nice and spacious. The staff were really nice and friendly.

This is a real cave hotel with its own pros and cons.

The hotel would benefit from a bit of maintenance: the shower door didn’t slide properly, the romantic lighting wasn’t bright enough for everyday use, and the teapot had an unpleasant smell.

I chose this hotel for its tasteful design and fair price. It's important to note that this is a real cave hotel, which comes with its own unique charm as well as a few downsides. The location is a bit off the main tourist routes, which made our stay peaceful and quiet — a real escape from the crowds. However, it can be inconvenient without a car, and the road up to the hotel is quite steep, which might be challenging for some people and vehicles. The staff didn’t speak English, but they were genuinely kind, eager to help, and often anticipated our needs, which we really appreciated. A traditional breakfast is served with a beautiful view of the cave city. That said, the portions could be more generous — for example, a 1–2 egg omelet shared between four people wasn’t quite enough.

The only think we didn’t like was the position, is on a very high hill, hard to walk till the building.

The hotel is very nice, our room had everything we need for our days in Cappadocia. Highly recommended 👌🏽

The room we stayed in had no window to the outside, so it tended to get somewhat moist and damp air inside, but it's part of the cave experience. Some people might find that troublesome, but for us, it was part of the adventure. The town of Nar is very limited in options of nightlife and shopping, but the people that are there are very friendly and nice! The atmospheric lighting might be a problem for some, but I found it absolutely romantic, although it was a bit tough to pack everything under the light of the phone flashlight. Just to remind you, these are merely things to keep in mind, not negative things about the hotel. It is great value and a great experience!

Unrivalled atmosphere, very romantic, very chill, big rooms, very nice breakfasts, very comfortable beds and the cave experience is something you cannot match! Free coffee and tea is a nice touch and the view from the rooftop balcony is breathtaking! Wifi worked flawlessly And the people of Nar and the staff of the hotel are exceptionally nice!

I feel at home staying here in Snora cave Cappadocia. It’s an amazing experience to stay in a hotel room that was made out from a cave. The owners personally manage the hotel and they are very accommodating to all guest. Turkish breakfast are prepared well and serve fresh. I love the place as it is away from the main road and no noise of cars passing during my sleep. I am planning to come back and stay here in the summer time

Cave life is a little different but worth it! Things to be aware of: The celling is constantly crumbling No windows Can smell a little damp (extractor fans in the bathroom would help). It's amazing how they are built but something to keep in mind when booking a cave room. Having said that, it's a great experience!

The staff were great, especially the 2 ladies, very friendly, helpful and always giggling 😊 The rooms are really cool and modern seeing that you are living in a cave. Cute cat called Nora Breakfast is a traditional Turkish.

whatever the 'bad' things are, I can overlook them because the whole experience was amazing.

Room is exactly like the photos, the hotel is built into the hill top caves and has a romantic quality with dim lighting tastefully lit around the room. I came alone but this would be perfect for couples who want somewhere nice to stay. The lady who owns the business runs it with her son and daughter and they are all lovely. Yes they don't speak much English but we have Google translate, use it. They are a kind and helpful family. The location is actually considered Nar, not Nevşehir and whether you are with or without transport its easy to get around. I used public buses which come every half hour from early morning till around 10pm. 30tl to Göreme and 70tl one way to Derinkuyu underground city. It's a quiet area and on top of a hill, which is fine if you are fit and healthy but if you're not, get a taxi. They will also help you with a taxi and any trips you want to make (with discounts)- I didn't know this when I arrived. The family will do anything to make your trip pleasant. I would definitely stay here again, it's perfect.

The ventilation in the cave room could be better, it was very damp all the time. If you want to have the cave experience, it is nice but your towels won't be dry next morning. There were people talking loudly in front of our room all night and they were not warned to stop talking by the staff.

The hotel is decorated very nicely, staying in a cave room was interesting experience, the bed was very comfortable, toilets and showers were clean. The room was warm but they had a fan for us. The breakfast is excellent, I could not believe it was free with the room. There is free tea and instant coffee whenever you want. The Staff is very nice and talkative.

You need to have cash before as there is no ATM near the hotel area, and all the shops and restaurants take cash only. The room was amazing with ambient lighting but I wish they would also have a normal light for the room. As it was too hard to find stuff with a mobile flashlight.

The people were amazing, the breakfast was also good, the room was amazing.

Affordable and lovely family place, needs some small fixes for better comfort.

While the place is gorgeous and is decorated in style it had a lot of practical issues. My biggest issue was the lack of A/C I would gladly pay a bit more and have slept cooler, it was too hot, and sleeping with the window open gave some relief but did make it noisier. Even a ceiling fan would have helped a lot. We had some gorgeous wooden beds but the light switches and electric plugs were behind the headboards so you had to get out of bed and reach between the bed and wall to turn off the light. Our bathroom fan made an awful sound, the shower was hard to turn on and the toilet lid did not stay up so you had to hold it to be able to sit. All small but a bit irritating issues, and in need of a handy man to make the place better. Parking was available but tricky due to the very steep road.

A lovely decorated and very reasonably priced boutique hotel especially considering its location. The beds were quite comfortable and the family running the place were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was on the lovely roof top terrace with freshly made omelet and french fries. Reaching the terrace is not manageable if you are older or disabled, the stairs are steep and my mother had a hard time climbing up and down, luckily our room was on the ground floor. The place does need some attention to details and kinks to be fixed.

Staff a bit standoff-ish. No food options for lunch or dinner. Location isn't near anything, so if you don't have a car or aren't willing to drive for food or drinks, I don't recommend.

Really nice and fancy for the price. It was really a cool experience to stay in the cave but not pay cave hotel prices. The food and staff were accommadting and nice. We had a car and the owner advised us very well to take that and what route to go.
