A lovely, quiet, small privately owned hotel. The location is ideal. The water views from the patio are beautiful. The rooms are cleaned and tidied each day. What made this hotel stand out was (amongst other things) the triple glazed windows (that can be opened), the quiet air conditioner and the silent fridge. The curtains are block out and the mattress is firm. Breakfast is fresh and delicious. It is served on a big plate and consists of fresh fruit, eggs/omelette, various pickles and meat. There is also bread and lots of sweet jams and honey to choose from. Ali was very friendly and helpful. He speaks several languages. Definitely recommend.

I guess there is value of money we pay. There can be improvement always in any place but overall my experience was nice.

Cleanliness of the room. But best thing is Mr. Alie is very helpful in showing ways etc. Mr. Alie the owner and his brother are very good and honest persons and give very right advice for various site seeing. The environment is homely and breakfast also was nice and healthy.

Quite challenging to get to the hotel with luggages from IST airport via public transport (e.g Havaist bus+ walking+tram+ walking)

The owners were very friendly and helpful, introducing the various activities/tours that we can do in Istanbul and taking the time to chat with us and giving us tips on our planned activities every morning. Breakfast was good with an egg variation every morning. Room was pretty big with very good soundproofing. Hotel is in a very good location, very near the attractions in Sultanahmet. Hotel cafe seems to be pretty popular, noticed quite a few people coming in just for breakfast/coffee.

We had the kindest and most genuine introduction to Istanbul and to our Türkiye trip more broadly by staying here. Mr Ali and Mr Tarkan are phenomenal hosts. They take your comfort seriously and help with any questions you have about experiencing the city. Yet it feels so homey and safe in the building. The location is ideal with the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia within a 10 minutes walk. The room we stayed in was spacious, clean, and with a comfortable bed. The windows have screens so you can open all three for a nice breeze and soft ambient noise from the bustling street without worrying about bugs etc. The breakfast is incredibly plentiful as well. We can't recommend Bram Hotel enough! Oh, and be sure to relax anytime on the rooftop patio that overlooks many buildings and the sea.

Hotel is in a local neighborhood so do not let that distract you as to the quality of the hotel. It is a gem in the rough.

Owners meet you as you step off the airport transport and see you to the transport as you leave. They are interested in your comfort, the enjoyment of your stay, and the wellbeing of your trip. They are very proactive and helpful. Room was large and bed was comfortable. Everything was clean. It is right around the corner from the Blue Masque square (the walk is steep uphill) but very close. Breakfast was good. Roof terrace is very enjoyable for especially for sunrises and sunsets.

Ali Er and his colleague were wonderful hosts. They were generous and provided excellent advice. The breakfast was great. The hotel was close to the major mosques and the Basilica Cistern.

The hotel was absolutely amazing. It is a cute little boutique hotel minutes away from the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia. The location is ideal. But most importantly, the owners Ali and Tarkan are so friendly and helpful. They made an excellent stay perfect. Not to mention they made a delicious breakfast. Also, there is a beautiful rooftop terrace with a great sea view and sunset watching opportunities. The room was cozy, the bed was comfortable, and the bathroom and everything else were super clean.

This hotel was absolutely excellent. Located close to the major sites, it is in a safe and quiet location with plenty of food options nearby. Ali and Tarkan are excellent hosts and really made our trip. The rooms are clean and nicely decorated, with a lovely terrace on the roof. The breakfast is also delicious and plentiful. I would definitely stay here again.

Certainly the best hotel in Istanbul! 3 minutes to the greatest monuments of Istanbul. Hotel in a quiet neighborhood in the center of the old town with terrace and beautiful view of the Bosphorus. Ali the owner, his brother and the crew will do everything to help you - they are amazing, passionate people! They will arrange tickets, taxi, transfer, cruise on the Bosphorus. They will prepare a delicious Turkish breakfast! A high standard hotel, clean, modern with huge, comfortable beds. I recommend it wholeheartedly!

We liked everything!

I have no doubts that Bram is the best choice you can make for your stay in Istanbul. Ali and his brother are the best hosts you can imagine: super comprehensive of an unforeseen change we had, always helping us with valuable knowledge and tips, and making sure everything was perfect. We will definitely come back. The location is great, 5min. walk to Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia! 10/10 breakfast. Thank you making our visit to Istanbul unforgettable!

This is the second time I stayed at Bram Hotel. Love it - extremely clean and quiet. The breakfast is delicious and thoughtful. Hotel location is perfect - close to major sites and yet quiet. Ali and his brother are super hospitable and provided very helpful suggestions. The terrace has a great sunset view. This will be the hotel I’ll return to again and again in Istanbul.

Hotel is located in the center of old city so it's very comfortable to visit main historical places from it. Personel of hotel is very hospital, helped with transfer suggested best places to visit and ways how to achieve them from the place. Honestly, I felt not like tourist but like a person returned to old friends since Ali and Tarkan helped me with everything relating the trip. Hotel has an amazing terrace with a lovely view on the city, room was clean, comfortable and well prepared. Men prepared hearty breakfast (and that was very nice before long walking trip in the city). I was very satisfied with the place and wish it further prosperity!

I loved my stay at Bram Hotel Instanbul! I was there for surgery and wanted something that would feel like home. The first thing one of the owners said to me when I arrived was: "This is not a hotel, this is your home for the week!" The room was beautiful and super clean, breakfast was delicious and Tarkan and Ali are truly wonderful, helpful, and speak amazing English. The hotel is so close to everything! If I ever return to Istanbul, I'm definitely coming back!

This was one of the most quiet hotels I've stayed at anywhere in Europe or Asia. Also a superb location with a great restaurant, Three Partners, a block away.
