The Wi-Fi connection was not stable in my room, but to me personally it was for the better, as I could focus on observing nature around me, relaxing and reading.

Staying at Baris Pension was honestly one of the best holidays I've ever had. The location is perfect: 3 minutes from the beach and all the shops and cafes, and the territory is amazing itself, I could chill in the hammock in the citrus garden just for hours — best naps I've had :) My corner room on the second floor felt like a fairytale ship — wood everywhere, a lot of light and air, very cozy and magic trees around it. Watching sunsets while drinking tea at the balcony is also an unforgettable experience! Breakfast was my favorite part of the day: fresh veggies, delicious eggs to your choice, Turkish dishes, sweet watermelon and a good variety of everything. I also ordered dinner a couple of times and each time it was also fresh, big and delicious — make sure you try their grilled fish at least once! Tasty Turkish tea is available at the kitchen during the day too. Thank you Baris, Ahmed and all the people working in the kitchen and cleaning — you create an extraordinary relaxing atmosphere, I can't wait to come back to Cirali!

Lots of choices for the buffet Turkish breakfast. Offer to cook eggs whatever way you'd like. Think maybe quality over quantity in terns of choice would work better.

The owner and head waiter were very welcoming and extremely helpful. Right besude the beach and very close to the centre of the village.

The one and only downside of this otherwise lovely place: crowing cocks in the immediate neighbourhood, waking you up early in the morning... :) Thanks to them we could at least enjoy the beautiful sunrise on the beach. Alternatively, bring earplugs ;)

We really liked the location, practically on the beach and very close to restaurants and shops. The setting is amazing, in an orange grove surrounded by high mountains. It's really quiet and relaxing. Good room with very comfortable bed. The bathroom was great, with plenty of hot water. Shower pressure was top. Great breakfast, lots of options, with eggs to order. Good coffee and plenty of fruit. You could have tea throughout the day for free. We had a great welcome and felt really relaxed here. Friendly staff.

I liked because it was exactly what I expected and wanted.

Great - I think the best location just 30 meters from the beach, small but comfortable rooms, quite old but everything is working - shower, fridge, conditioner. Really very nice breakfast where you can take whatever there is and as much as you can and the table is full of really good Turkish mezes, hot potato, vegetables, greens, also you can ask to cook eggs as you like, there is tea, coffee, apples and watermelons. On the territory it is very green. The beach is very close - just 30 meters, there are beds available there with umbrellas. Small market is just 10 meters from it, 200 meters there are restaurants to have dinner.

We liked everything.

For us as a family with a small child this was a perfect choice! We really enjoyed the piece and quiet of the place - beautiful nature around, 3 min walk to the beach, friendly and very helpful stuff. Excellent communication with the property owner, who was very quick to answer our questions, provided money exchange and transfers which all went smoothly. Highly recommended!

I loved the sense of Bareis Pension feeling like it had been in the family for a long time. There were personal touches and thoughtful hospitality and care put into the entire grounds . it is not fancy but exudes a warmth and is in a beautiful location.

This place is a veritable gem, with rooms facing a lovely little garden tucked away in the heart of the medieval city, a short walk from the sea. The hostess is every bit as charming as the surroundings. The decadently scrumptious breakfast features bounty from the garden (including some tart-and-sweet fresh-squeezed citrus juice that's to die for) as well olives and oil produced from the family farm near Izmur. It's peaceful too...at least in winter! The price is almost unbelievable for the location and amenities. You're surrounded by cute (pricey) shops and restaurants, but also not far from also-cute (inexpensive) local eateties. And yes, there is a bathtub!
