The hotel is family run, all the staff is fantastic, friendly, they help you to arrange the perfect holiday. Cozy rooms, clean, in the beautiful style of the Kappadokia area. Terrace with romantic view on the fairies' chimneys and city lights, where you can have a tasty and rich typical Turkish breakfast served freshly made.

Nothing that I could think of that needs improving

Everything was absolutely great. Starting from the breakfast that included a little bit of everything in a lovely terrace setting, as well as the cleanness of the room and the location which were great. The staff was more than helpful and friendly, assisting and providing us with everything we needed. I would highly recommend this location and I would love to return someday.

The whole stay was amazing. All the services they provided were excellent and very nicely offered. From a mistake we made with the reservation that they helped us solve, to all the help they could offer us with activities to do while we stayed there. There is a dog called Hector owned by a friend of the owner of the hotel that could only make our time even better! Truly this hotel and their people made our trip to Cappadocia magical like nothing we have ever lived before. It was a present to stay here.

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at Azalea Terrace Hotel, and what truly set it apart was the exceptional kindness and hospitality of the staff. From the moment I arrived, I was warmly welcomed and made to feel completely at home. Every staff member I encountered—from the front desk to housekeeping—went out of their way to ensure my stay was comfortable and stress-free. Whether it was offering local recommendations, accommodating a last-minute room request, or simply greeting me each day with a genuine smile, the team here exemplifies what it means to provide outstanding service. Their attention to detail and sincere care made a lasting impression, and it’s clear they genuinely enjoy making their guests feel special. The azalea team made us feel like home. First, Orhan was the best. He took us a tour around the property and invited us their Turkish tea. Then, Safisa had the best hands. Our room was perfect: spacious, clean, and with plenty of storage to use. It was warm and cozy, and the bed was large and very comfortable. The hotel has a beautiful terrace with stunning views over Goreme, especially breathtaking at 7:00 am when the hot air balloons fill the sky. The breakfast is served from 8:30-10:30 and it’s delicious! The location is perfect, right in the heart of Goreme. Within a 5-minute walk, you’ll find everything you need: restaurants, the bus station, supermarkets, pharmacies, and more. However, what truly sets this hotel apart is the staff – exceptionally attentive, kind and hospitable. They went above and beyond to help us with airport transportation, plan our activities, and give us recommendations. We couldn’t be happier with our stay, highly recommend this hotel, and will absolutely return!

It was a great location, easy communication. However we did not get the room booked, which was bigger and different arranged (still received part of the money and got the room for the last night), also it has great views over the city and ballons.

Our stay at Azalea Terrace was truly one of the highlights of our trip to Turkey, especially in Cappadocia. The hotel's location was unbeatable—just a short stroll from the heart of Göreme and within easy reach of the central bus stop. It made exploring the town incredibly convenient. In terms of accessibility, it couldn’t have been better. From the moment we arrived, we felt warmly welcomed. Although we arrived earlier than the designated check-in time, the hotel staff noticed how tired we were from our travels and graciously allowed us to check in early, which we deeply appreciated. The staff at the reception were exceptionally friendly and hospitable. They went above and beyond, even arranging sightseeing tours for us on both days, making our experience seamless. The room was nothing short of fantastic—spacious, very clean, and beautifully decorated with a touch of local charm. The bathroom was especially spotless, which was a pleasant surprise. From our balcony, we had the magical experience of watching the iconic Cappadocia hot air balloons drift across the sky each morning. It was breathtaking. One of the standout features of the hotel was its stunning terrace, which was elegantly decorated and offered a perfect vantage point to enjoy the morning balloons while indulging in a delicious breakfast. The terrace also had a beautifully curated area, adorned with traditional carpets, perfect for capturing those quintessential Cappadocian photos with the balloons in the background. The breakfast itself was a highlight—delightfully tasty, filling, and a great way to start the day. Every morning felt special, as we enjoyed both the flavors of the food and the extraordinary view. Overall, our experience at Azalea Terrace was exceptional. The combination of impeccable service, stunning views, and charming ambiance made it a stay to remember. Not a big deal but a bedside lamp would have been nice.

This review is based on the price we paid of £41 for two for a clean, comfortable stay in the centre of Goreme, with an excellent buffet breakfast included in the price. The staff were lovely and the amazing roof terrace where breakfast was served has indoor and outdoor great views of the balloons.

The staff are not friendly at all and not helpful. breakfast is so so. (no real meat) only eggs and mince vegetable.

The only thing missing are the blinds in the windows.

Surpassed every expectation. The room was so spacious and so welcoming, everything was arranged perfectly and there's also room service. The bed was extremely comfortable, and there were two bathrooms, one for the toilette and the other for the shower. The terrace is wonderful and the view is breathtaking. They serve breakfast there which is very rich and included in the stay. The hosts are extremely forthcoming and will do everything to make your stay amazing: they will book shuttle and tours for you as well. Mohammed is the best! Lastly, the position is right in the center of Goreme and everything is accessible from there: shops, pharmacy, ATMs, restaurants...
