Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

IrelandWe had a fantastic two-night stay at this hotel and absolutely loved every moment of it. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with beautifully designed interiors that gave the place a truly unique and cozy charm. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly — always ready to assist with a smile, which made us feel genuinely cared for throughout our stay. Breakfasts were delicious, with a great variety and fresh ingredients that set the tone for perfect mornings.

AustraliaNo tea or coffee making in the room
Great hotel in the heart of the old town. Staff were helpful and friendly. They helped carry our luggage up stairs. They were helpful with parking which was easy to get into. You just need to leave your keys at reception. The pool was accessible and breakfast was good. The only downside was no coffee or tea making in the room and it was a bit noisy until 1 am but we were able to sleep ok

LatviaOur room was located in a separate building just across the street, where the internet connection was weak. Being on the ground floor, it wasn't very quiet at night, especially when people returned from their night out a bit tipsy.
Great location with an authentic vibe, especially the lobby decorated in a traditional Yörük style, featuring a warm welcome with a portrait of the founder of the Turkish Republic. The pool and open-air restaurant are lovely, and the breakfast is excellent—high-quality, natural food items.

United KingdomThere is a bit of noise at night from neighbouring bars, etc, but they provide ear plugs in the room, and it didn't bother me, really.
This hotel is a lovely little gem. Very central to Antalya Town. Very clean and quaint rooms with all the basics, including fridge, hairdryer, complementary shampoo, and shower gel. The staff are all very friendly and accommodating. Good fresh breakfast buffet. Lovely clean pool with sunbed towels provided. Held my bags for me on the last day, and I was able to hang around and use the pool area for as long as I wanted before leaving for my evening flight.

It is a beautiful little hotel in the old town which was once an old Turkish home dating back 300 years. It has lots of character and is a relaxed place to escape the summer heat. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful during our stay. It also has a parking spot which is handy if you are driving around Turkey.

ArgentinaI loved everything from my stay in the Atelya. The staff is very kind, the location is truly great, I appreciated that they had parking and even valet. The hotel itself is really pretty, it has a pool, some space where you can relax and also have breakfast in the morning, and it has a unique vibe that I really loved. About breakfast, it has a great selection, and the best granola ever. 100% recommended.

United KingdomThis is a real find in Antalya old town. It's a group rooms around 4 courtyards either side of a quiet narrow street, with the main one around small pool, breakfast room and bar. From the moment I arrived, when the owner insisted on taking my bags to my room, to when I left, with a coffee ready for me as I waited for a 5h15 taxi to the airport, I felt looked after. The old town has plenty to see and do, with steps down to the harbour helping to meet walking targets and find nice eateries.

RussiaThe only thing that could use some refreshing was the shower.
OMG🥰 The staff anticipated all my needs — they were incredibly responsive and welcoming! Truly! The sincere smile never left the young man’s face — unfortunately, I don’t know his name. The location is fantastic — right in the heart of the old town, no more than a 10-minute walk to all the major landmarks. The hotel also has parking, and entry into the old town is through a barrier. The place is incredibly authentic and full of historical charm. You really feel like you’re staying in a villa. Many people mention the noise — earplugs were provided in the room, and even though I’m a very light sleeper, I managed to fall asleep to the sound of karaoke because I was just so tired. Just walk a lot and the sounds of the old town won’t bother you! :) Breakfast was decent, and there’s also a bar and a pool. The grounds are pleasant. My room had a balcony, which was also a nice touch. The beds, towels, and the room itself were clean, which is often a challenge in historical places.
