Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United Kingdom‘Apartment’ is a slight exaggeration for where we stayed but the rooms were big and comfortable.
Good location near Hagia Sofia and the Blue Mosque. Very friendly and accommodating people, from reception through to cleaning and kitchen staff. Big, comfortable rooms. Good breakfast. Lovely views from the rooftop breakfast room in a neighbouring hotel. Great value.

United KingdomThe street outside was very noisy at nighttime and it was difficult to sleep, although that isn't the fault of the hotel.
Really lovely hotel in a great location. The staff were very helpful and attentive, especially Efe, who was really kind and helpful. Breakfast was great with a fantastic view of the Bosphorus. Would recommend!

Irelandslightly shabby but it’s a historic area so that’s ok. I got better value booking an airport transfer myself than using the hotel’s service. As an apartment it was quite bare but as three rooms with their own door and a kitchenette, it was fine.
good area for sightseeing and close to a shop for necessities.

TurkmenistanAirport pick up. After arrival in Istanbul, I went to the exit I was told to go to. My transportation was not there. It was necessary for a local to force someone working in that arrival area to check a list, locate my name and call the ride. This was a stressful headache as it was almost midnight by that point.
Breakfast was good and very close by. There is a choice to have the included breakfast at one of two very close locations.

Only a few minutes walking from Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, Topkapi Palace...perfect. The room was no frills basic, but great value for location - lovely little balcony. All managing staff were very helpful; the airport shuttle was a great idea.

AustraliaNon working lift for a day 5 blown light bulbs in room which made it difficult to see at night Tv x 2 not working very annoying ! Bathroom had no tissues, poor shampoo & soap supplied Booked for actual hotel but was sent to room accross the road was not happy but did receive an upgraded room thankfully as the original room booked was not in the hotel either we came to find out, it was up the street and was nothing like the images on bookings and again was not in main hotel. Staff pleasant but English very poor and not much help to be honest with much at all Room was next to building being renovated the noise wasn’t great

PortugalServices offered are overpriced - we asked for airport transfer which was double the the cost of a taxi (which you can grab with no problem in front of the airport); and a SIM card for internet which was also about 3x the price of a regular SIM at a regular shop a few minutes away on the same area. When we asked for restaurant recommendations, we were pointed across the street "because they were friends". Important to note the breakfast is not on the same hotel - you have to cross the street and enter a different hotel, ride the elevator to the rooftop and have it there. Not a huge problem, I'm just not sure I saw that information beforehand - since it was raining when I was there, I might have booked a different hotel. Also, the photos provided did not match the bedroom.
Location is the selling point of this Hotel. Staff was nice enough. Other than that, I have a few negatives. Area has a lot of hotels, would probably stay at a different one next time.
