There is a street with a lot of restaurants, bars and cafes, and our first room was looking to that street. Because of loud music and noises we couldn’t sleep well , then we asked for a room change . Fortunately, there were available rooms and we were moved to the other side of the building and the room there was very quiet and good. You’d better ask for a quiet room during your check in.

We stayed as married couple. Excellent staff, great location, rooms are clean and comfortable. Parking is very convenient, the hotel has a big underground parking , so if you have a car you can park your car and get to your room easily , that’s a very big plus for me. I stayed in many of the hotels in that area and for the next visit to Ankara this hotel will be my first choice. By the way , the name of the hotel is Grand Mercure , not Downtown Hotel.

It's a little noisy at night.

The hotel is located in an excellent location. A shopping center, the US Embassy and a metro station are within walking distance. The staff is friendly and goes out of their way to meet my needs.

Not much except to say that the area where the hotels and shopping mall is a bit under developed in terms of infrastructure (like roads, pawments).

The property is in an area where there are other hotels and a major shopping mall just little outside of the inner city. If the location is what you want, it is one of the best places to stay. The staff were friendly and helpful, the breakfast was very rich and diverse, the room was upgraded for me; it was very large and clean.

The staff is not very good about communication. I had a broken hair dryer and they didnt believe me they came all together to check and it was broken they changed my room very late

The room was noisy, it was impossible to sleep during the night because of the music coming from the club located just next to the hotel.

Breakfast was great. I love the gluten free options. There were a large variety of gluten free section. Food was fresh and coffee was delicious.

After cleaning the room we had to ask for cups, water or even toilet paper. We stayed before too. Then everything was more than okey.

Information regarding the alteration of a hotel reservation name before arrival is available. The breakfast was quite enjoyable, albeit costly, at approximately 20 euros per person. Additionally, swimming caps are required and can be purchased for 7,5 euros a peace.

The location was ideal once we found it, as the hotel is listed under a different name (Mercure). It's a pleasant and comfortable place to stay in Ankara, conveniently close to shops (Armada shopping center) and the Metro station. The staff are friendly.

It was outside the Hotel just happed that my room was in front of the Bar which is noisy till 2am but other than that nothing to complain about.

The pool was unmanned when we first got there, but that may have just been because it was so quiet at that time. The main desk receptionist got us helped out though

Quality of materials used at hotel and also at room, also job wasnt done much well. At room big spaces between door and door frame allowed to hear and even see through, also it was easy to move door when they were locked, because even frame was moving. Hotels guest restrooms are slightly destroyed, scratched or unfinished. All looking luxuriously at first moment, but with closer look its not well made for the price spent. Oh and Wifi absolutely not working well, i can ignore quality of things around, but this was the WORST problem for the price spent.

In the end i didnt have time to try all and missed second day of breakfasts, but what i tried that was great :)
