Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

IrelandBoth the swimming pools are inadequate!!!! For elderly people they difficult to access .far too deep I’m 6ft3 and could only just stand in pools with head above water . Many others like ourselves found the very difficult to get in and out..it was 47degrees on our visit so the metal supports on pool steps literally burnt your hands when trying to pull yourself out
Breakfast was excellent,ROOM WAS DUPERB AND LOCATION COULD MOT HAVE BEEN BETTER

The staff were very good, couldn't do enough for you. Also the breakfast had a great spread of food hot and cold options. We arrived late in the evening, and our initial room was right near where the live music was, we just asked politely if there is another rum available. Lovely room in the other building across the way and it was very comfortable and no noise for the old town. We will definitely stay there again and recommend to our friends.

IcelandThey had some issues with there fire alarm wich gave us a bit of a scare waking up to in the middle of the night, hope they can sort that out. The clubs next to the hotel play loud music reccomend earplugs
We really liked staying in Alp Pasa Hotel the staff was friendly and always willing to help with everything. Our cleaning lady was so nice and made the cutest figurines on the bed with our towels. Everything was clean and the food was good. We got a discount of the restaurant because we were staying in the hotel and the cocktails were nice. We also loved staying by the private pool, relaxing in the sun with food and cocktails from the pool bar. They had 2 pools. Good location close walking distance to main attractions

United KingdomBeing a newly completed block there were a few "teething" troubles including no hot water on our first night! However these were very rapidly resolved by the apologetic and attentive staff. Tea and coffee making facilities in the room would be an improvement. We had a great rapport with the hotel's Guest Manager
Great location in the centre of the old town. Very friendly and helpful staff. The room was spacious in a recently completed new block. Courtyard enclosure with a private swimming pool but close to the main hotel. Breakfasts were good quality and the freshly cooked eggs were excellent

Czech RepublicThat the accomodation was not in the same place where was the swimming pool, and it was on the photos when I was booking it. Other people who works there as stuff- also should speak a bit of english, and they did not. They were unpleasant.
I like the location and the nice looking place, with nature architekture and swimming pool in the middle. The manager was able to communicate in english so it was helpful.

A hotel with very nice staff. Especially Selin was a great and helpful person. Our room was very nice and had a lot of space. The bed was very comfortable. The location was also great as it is centered in old town. Also a great place as start point to go view other things.

United KingdomSome rooms aren't as nice as the pictures , I got moved into a nicer room thank goodness. No tea or coffee facilties in the rooms as advertised. Water not replenished in the fridge. The rooms needed a very good dust. restaurant for lunch and dinner and bar i think is ran by another company. The staff weren't very friendly and didn't give us the 10% off discount hotel guests are meant to have and when we asked, one girl was quite miffed that we asked for it. Put us off dining there.
Amazing historic building right in the centre of the old town. It was beautiful. The breakfast was delicious, very turkish but lots of choices and we enjoyed it every day. . Reception staff were very helpful and the guest relations manager Selin, was so attentive and very good at her job.

United KingdomThe hotel is not particularly wheelchair friendly and there were no elevators for the room we were staying at. Being at the city centre, weekends can be noisy particularly late at the night. Although compared to other quality properties a few street’ down, this one was much spared from the clubbing music in the rooms we stayed at.
The breakfast was nicely laid out with friendly staff

EstoniaVery bizarre cleaning routine. Absolutely no general cleaning or making up beds, etc. From day 1-5 of our stay they just replaced the towels and took out trash and it was done around 6pm, on 6th day they replaced only one of the towel and the last day the housekeeping didn’t come at all. Had to remind them to change our towels and bring toilet paper. The receptionist never apologised for any inconveniences. The lady was rather rude. It was very noisy at night because of some bars nearby.
Excellent location. Breakfast was quite good and we were lucky to get a spacious room. There are different rooms available. Some are very small.

United KingdomOn arrival, we were told that we had to pay double the amount that was on our booking confirmation and all correspondence with the hotel. When we tried to understand why the price was one thing on confirmation, they gave no information and said it’s booking.com’s fault. We were given no solution apart from pay double the amount or try and find somewhere else. We had just landed and had no wifi or data to talk to booking.com about this. The member of staff we spoke to was very unhelpful and we asked to speak to the manager and was told they would be in contact when they arrive to the hotel. No one made any attempt to help resolve this situation.
We were attending for a wedding and it was in a great location. We were able to explore Old Town and all it has to offer.
