The breakfast was alright, it was the same everyday, and didnt feel fresh except for the fruits. The bathroom is poorly designed, with the water from the shower overflowing in the rest of the bathroom. The sink was wobbly, with temporary cardboard to support it.

The location was close enough to the center of Goreme and the room was spacious, bed was very comfortable. The staff were very helpful and kind.

This hotel contributed to make our experience in this amazing land stunning. Our room was comfortable, intimate and elegant, breakfast was rich, varied and tasty, served on the cute terrace. Staff was available anytime to book any transfer or tour and for any kind or necessity. 15 minutes walk from the city centre and possibility to see balloons from the terrace at sunrise. I would go back immediately!

Everyone was very attentive. Azis was very kind, he made my stay pleasant. As a person with a disability (wheelchair user), he was very attentive to ensuring that the room met my needs. While the hotel is not 100% accessible, the staff is always ready to assist you with anything you may need. I recommend it without a second thought.

Aziz and his colleague was most hospitable accommodating , friendly and helpful . The breakfast was very good. Rooms were spacious and clean with all necessary amenities. Ideal location. The rooftop was the perfect place to watch the magical hot air balloons . Our stay at Ala Stone House was a memorable one . Definitely had happy moments with Cat Ala and Puppy. It’s a little bit further away from the city, be prepared to walk or take a taxi.

Beautiful property with a lovely rooftop view. The stone aesthetic lended a rustic vibe to the rooms. We stayed in rooms that opened out to the garden and the staff was very sweet and brought us tea when we were sitting outside in the evenings. The hotel is named after a beautiful cat who had recently given birth to the most lovely kittens. So it was a delight to play with the kittens.

This staff and room was super nice. Very new building and comfy. The best part was the property cat, Ala, and her 5 week old kittens, and their two puppies. The property is at the edge of town but about a 10 minute walk into the main area where all the shops are. It’s very quiet and away from the busy area without being too far. The hill behind the property has a gorgeous view of the hot air balloons in the morning.

We stayed at Ala Stone House for four nights and had a wonderful experience. The hotel is located about a 10–12 minute walk from the center of Göreme, which made it perfect for us since we were looking for a quieter spot away from the crowds. The room was spacious, with a large bathroom and a beautiful mountain view. It had both air conditioning and heating, although we didn’t use either — visiting in June, we relied on natural ventilation. With a west-facing window, we enjoyed cool, fresh air in the evenings. The ambiance of the hotel is warm and inviting, made even more special by its furry residents. There's a lovely cat named Ala (the namesake of the hotel), who might be shy at first but warms up to you over time. She also has two adorable kittens. In addition, there are two friendly and playful dogs — Niesmo and Puppy — who brought a lot of joy to our stay. One of the highlights was the delicious Turkish breakfast, which had a wide variety of items and was consistently excellent. The staff were attentive and respectful, always ready to help but also giving us space. If you’d like the room cleaned during your stay, you just need to let them know — they won’t disturb your privacy otherwise, which we really appreciated. We were also warmly welcomed with drinks and bottled water on arrival, which set a great tone for the rest of the stay. Overall, Ala Stone House is a great place to relax, especially if you’re looking for a calm, friendly, and authentic experience in Cappadocia. Highly recommended!

Close to the city centre (within walking distance) but far enough out that it is quiet. The room was light, clean and comfortable. They even have puppies and kittens! Well maintained … staff were very humble friendly and helpful. Always keen to help. Helped in booking hot air balloon and green tour in just a few mins . But above all the warmth they share will their guests is no less than any family. Loved the experience
