All bedrooms are quite small (most Turkey stays had the same issue, so it’s normal maybe). Biggest issue during our stay was no water pressure at all on top floor bathroom- so all 6 of us were forced to use one shower and toilet; also washing machine could not be used as no water. Apparently it was common building problem, but it kinda messed up our stay :(

This is an even more comfortable place than home. The living room is large and spacious, with tasteful furniture and displays. The moment I opened the window the next morning, I was amazed. Standing on the balcony, you see a painting in the distance with sunrise, mosque and street view. I took a lot of photos and videos. It was an amazing stay and the best value on the whole Turkey trip. Highly recommend Akhome.

The upstairs bedroom with the ensuite bathroom has a window that looks onto a wall and is very dark during the day. It is very stuffy in there if the aircon isn't on. You can't leave that window open because it opens inwards and then there is no space to walk around the bed to the bathroom. If you do not generally sleep with an open window like I do, this wouldn't be an issue. This wasn't an issue for us as we made use of the 2 bedrooms on the opposite side of the apartment which both had balconies and expansive views and were very comfortable.

The appartment is very spacious and comfortable and has a panoramic view of the city.

Everything was as described and better. The bedrooms also have airconditioning. Everything worked properly and it was very very clean. The place is also more spacious then we expected. We were in luck to be there on Friday because just across the street there is the big roofed market. Our son boight a lot of knock off shoes and clothes for very cheap😄 The city centre is a 10-15 minutes walk and supermarkets are just downstairs. If we ever come back to Canakkale, we will book this place again for sure!

Sadly there was not enough towels for everyone. Also no big pots nor utilities to cook for 8 people. We got them after complaining, super late. Would have been nice that everything is prepared when you arrive and not late.

The rooms and bathroom was clean and nice. In total it was really comfortable and we had a nice time there. For a big group of 8 people it was a great accommodation.

Wonderful apartment with a huge living room and such cozy bedrooms. Two floors, on the first floor you can choose a room for your older relatives. This apartment has air conditioning, which was so necessary for a comfortable life in the month of July in Canakkale. Very kind and helpful staff. We recommend choosing this apartment for your holiday.

Unfortunately the sewerage smell coming from the sewerage vents on the top floor balcony made it unbearable to use the attached bedroom or balcony upstairs. Its so strong, you cant stay there for more than half a minute. We had to close off that bedroom door to prevent the smell from affecting the rest of the apartment. Be prepared to have one less bedroom if you wish to stay here. Building strata needs to fix this problem!

Nice spacious apartment on top level. Double storey. Fully furnished and comfortable couches and beds. Full kitchen.
