Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

NetherlandsThe only feedback would be to make more advertisement;) Looking back we would have booked a walking tour instead of going alone
The host and his family were very friendly and helpful. We had a wonderful dinner and a nice hike the next morning.

NetherlandsWe liked everything.
A mesmerizing combination of world class cooking (the local vegetable and fish cuisine were exttordinary, the breakfast was amazing with different home made little dishes), the kind family run place, the wonderful gardens, the involvement of the local villagers and helpfull way the host advised us in the opportunities to explore the environments of the living monument that Kapikiri represents and beyond. Just perfect.

United KingdomMithat and his family made us so welcome in their family pension set in a beautiful garden where the smell of orange blossom lingers. Our room was clean and comfortable with a good supply of hot water for the shower and excellent wifi. The food in the restaurant was superb mostly sourced locally, which meant it had recently been awarded a green Michelin award for sustainability. There was a generous choice of dishes available at breakfast. We also did one of the guided walking tours on offer. A 9km hike through some amazing rock formations and wild flower meadows with the added bonus of cave paintings and the derelict Yediler monastery. Highly recommend this pension if you want to see a quieter side of Turkiye away from the main tourist trail.

United KingdomGreat Anatolian hospitality from Mithat, his family and team. Breakfast was generous and the evening meal superb. Relaxed and welcoming surroundings with well-tended beautiful gardens. The trek to the monastery and cave paintings was informative, and Mithat was good company. He puts a lot of energy into giving his guests a good experience.e

United StatesNothing - my expectations were met and the price is fair for what is offered. The simple accommodations may not be everyone's cup of tea but we were plenty comfortable for the night we stayed there.
Agora Pansiyon is a small family operation, which I appreciate. We were welcomed with warmth and respect, and were provided with lots of information about the local area. We only stayed for one night during travel through the area, but it would be a good home base for hiking expeditions. The food was locally sourced.

United KingdomNothing, it was perfect
We had the most perfect stay at Pensyion Agora. From the really friendly welcome from Mithat and his family, to the lovely clean accommodation, to the delicious home cooked food and excellent wine selection, to the incredible local tour and guide from Mithat, his local knowledge was amazing. A quiet beautiful place, the location was stunning, the sunrise boat trip with Mehmet to see the Flamingos and other birds as the sun rose and the light on the shimmering lake was incredible. thanks to Mithat for arranging this for us. We had just the best time here and hope to come back one day Georgie

United KingdomThe hotel is set in a small farming community that seems to be struggling in the current economy. Village women can be overly insistent in selling their home-made trinkets. And you see and hear signs of the tough lives villagers live.
This small hotel has bright and airy modern and well maintained rooms, good beds and powerful showers. The food is outstanding. The nearby ancient ruins are breathtaking and the lake and its birdlife are stunning. Our host Mithat is a knowledgeable and loquacious tour guide. There’s a choice of other good restaurants in walking distance.

A beautiful sanctuary nestled in town. Very helpful owners and helped us book a great boat tour to see flamingos, pelicans and the ruins. Breakfast was delicious.

United KingdomIt is so beautiful! Thailand and Greece vibes. Something pretty everywhere you turn. You are served olives from the garden and local produce and the food is delicious - all cooked prepared by the family. The view of the lake from the Agora down the road is heavenly. We can’t wait to return in cooler months to trek and explore more. Go!

United KingdomWe loved Kapikiri - an opportunity to stay in a genuine village, amongst ancient ruins and an amazing landscape, without being overwhelmed by tourists. The Pansiyon is in keeping with the location - simple rooms and attractive common spaces in the heart of the village. The host was very welcoming and spoke excellent English. We particularly enjoyed the breakfasts and dinners - everything, especially the use of local produce, reflected the thoughtful ethos of the family who run the pansiyon and a more sustainable, locally responsive approach to tourism.
