Nice place in medina. Everything ok but not exceptional. It should be 9 points. But.. it is disgusting and arrogant asking people to put 10 points... because they want to get better score in booking.com. They wrote to me this kind of message after my stay.

The host was super friendly and helpful ! Place is just right in the Medina and close to the Bus station. And just a 10-15 min walk to the beach and harbour of the city. I was travelling alone and felt very safe, so I can really recommend the place!

Amenities-such as toiletries, half used soap. extra toilet paper roll…only 1 half used when we arrived. Weak wifi. Just be careful of bathroom shower, the shower water might flow into living room…because floor is same level and the water draining is slow.

Location. Private, safe and in residential neighbourhood. Near to Louage station. Check in process smooth - owner will contact and communicate through WhatsApp. Someone from Dar Lilia will meet you and check you in. It is a very reasonable cost for the stay, so do not expect a hotel comfort. Dar Lilia is good enough to have a good night sleep and enjoy Monastir.

There is no sign at the building showing that it is Hotel Dar Lilia. A bit confusing upon arrival

The host are incredibly friendly and helped us for any problem. The structure is in the town center, it was possible to park the car and reach everything on foot. We had a really nice stay.

The parking spot was small which is understandable considering the location.

It was close to the center of the city, so you can get to any place within 5 minutes. It has a vintage style in the ancient town (traditional, المدينة العربي ) of Monastir, so it is like a trip to the past. Everything is close by and you get to experience the lifestyle of people there 🥰

Great experience. "5-star cleanliness." The accommodation is very well located, close to all points of interest, and we walked everywhere. Check-in and check-out were easy, communication was excellent, and directions were excellent. A special thank you to the lady who welcomed us with such kindness and dedication to her work. I highly recommend it.

Everything was perfect! Mr. Kader welcomed me warmly, showed me all the features of the apartment. He gave me information about the city and kindly offered to accompany me at the louage station on the day of my departure. Thanks. The apartment is equipped with everything, sheets, towels, kitchen utensils, refrigerator, stove, air conditioning. There is the possibility of using the washing machine. The bathroom is small but very nice. The terrace is at your disposal there is a table with chairs and a part with sofas where you can relax in the evening. The road to Dar Lilia is easy to find, very close to the louage station, there are some food shops very close by. A 7-minute walk away is the Bourghiba mausoleum, a 10-minute walk away is the sea with various restaurants.

It is a very charming room in a top roof terrace in the Medina. It has coocking facilities. Very comfortable and near the comercial area of the medina, the wanderful Ribat of Monastir and the great Central Market (a great market indeed). The terrace in front of the room is a great place for early mornings and evenings. Easy to reach following the link in google maps. Parking is nearby and free. The person who takes care of you at your arrival is a great character, helfull an friendly (his contact is sent to you as soon as you book). I highly recomend this place as an immersive experience to life in the Medina.

Great apartment. Very handy having a washing machine. The host was super friendly and walked us to the ATM as we didn't have enough cash. He pointed things out along the way with very good English. A nice easy walk to the nearby shops and restaurants and the fort and beach.

Amel is a great host. She takes care as if you are her own guest. The apartment is clean and big enough. It fits for long stays. Monastir is a beautiful city.

The only thing I didn’t like was leaving, wished I could have stayed longer!

If you want to be in the old medina this place is perfect. It is also safe, I wandered around day & night by myself down these little alleys and never felt threatened - you will just meet families and people going about their lives who often say hello with a smile. The owner is super helpful. I would definitely stay here again if I return to monastir. If you want busyness and things to entertain you in your accommodation this isn’t but if you appreciate peace and having space to yourself it’s perfect.
