“The welcome was warm and friendly. We were given a tour of the entire hotel and told about its history. French is the main language spoken, but some of the staff also spoke English. The hotel is of a European standard and is very well maintained.
The location is perfect, right in the middle of the medina of Monastir. You are right on the market street, but the accommodation in the inner area exudes tranquillity and makes you forget the hustle and bustle.
The team is very courteous and always endeavours to meet the needs of all guests. We received good advice about diving. The pool is a nice way to cool off in the hot summer temperatures.
In addition to the standard dishes, there was another speciality every day for breakfast. I found the Tunisian dish ‘Ojja’ very tasty.
We highly recommend the hotel as it has its own unique charm.”

“The security at the entrance was excellent. Staff at the gate were polite and professional, which immediately gave a sense of safety. The room was comfortable, with a proper king-size bed rather than two singles pushed together, and it came with a beautiful view that I truly enjoyed every day. Service in general was attentive and there were some staff members who stood out, especially Noureddine in the theme restaurant, who was exceptional in both professionalism and kindness. Not all employees were consistent, but most were welcoming and helpful. The beach and sea were another highlight: clean, safe, and very pleasant. I especially appreciated the thoughtful addition of a net to prevent jellyfish from entering the swimming area, which made going into the water worry-free. The snack bar was fine overall. Service there depended on the staff on duty, some were friendly, smiling, and attentive, while others seemed uninterested but the food and drinks were convenient when needed.”
