Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United StatesLike all places in Timor-Leste, it is overpriced compared to neighboring Indonesia, but that's par for the course.
Everything was exceptional. The on-site restaurant was fantastic.

JapanToilet seat is not matching the toilet it attached to… Rooms 544, where I have stayed, is without ANY view, and when you open the window (not advised) you have HUGE antennas with high radiation, just next to you… Restaurant could have been better, without all the rats that roam the place, something to suggest the Hygiene condition of the kitchen…
Room is very spacious and bed is very comfortable.

United KingdomAircon leaking in middle of night, power cut off and mosquito. Staff are helpful, informative and nice, most of them speak good English. We didn’t manage to book the meeting room on any day, that’s a pity! I was not aware there is a business centre in the hotel.
Variety limited, stredded chicken and satay chicken dried up, Salad dehydrated and fruits quality are not good.

AustraliaThe rooms all just face out onto a concrete wall. No view of anything. Also the location is convenient for the shopping mall but not near anything else I needed for my trip, and not near beach either
Nice big clean rooms, lovely staff. The restaurant is really good with range of Asian and Western food. Breakfast buffet was extensive.

New ZealandThe pool is in another building several minutes walk away.
Good location with supermarkets, shops and food court in mall. Easy taxi or microlet ride into city centre, or a good walk. Staff were excellent. We were also given a late check out for mid afternoon flight. Airport shuttle is very good. We upgraded to a deluxe room and spent hours watching the organised chaos outside.

SwedenGot one of the dreaded concrete wall view room. Some sign of wear and tear (like cracked toilet chair). Hot water only in the shower booth. It's a distance to everything worth seeing, but if you are staying here, you can afford it (plenty of mikrolets if you want to be adventurous). But putting this in the context of a poor country, this is not bad at all.
Right on top of a shopping center, you don't miss anything. Breakfast buffe was not really lacking anything either. Fabulous staff. Free airport transfer.

AustraliaNot much. Room was a bit worn and maintenance items needed. But let’s face it that’s what you expect in a poor country
Well located. Friendly and very helpful staff. Room was a little worn but very clean. I’d say this is one of, if not the best place in town. Breakfast was plentiful but not amazing to be honest. Shopping centre downstairs for all everyday needs including a reasonable supermarket. Free pick up and drop to airport. Staff were very very helpful in helping me resolve a personal business matter.

United KingdomThere must be a water heating tank for each room, so if you like long showers or there are several people taking showers sequentially, you may run out of hot water and need to wait a little for the water to warm up again. Location is great if you’re doing day trips out of Dili or have a car, but far from the centre if you don’t. You would then be dependent on getting a taxi and the blue ones are the ones to go for (but you need to call them, rather than flag them down on the street).
The hotel is part of a shopping complex, with many shops, including supermarkets, nearby. Car rentals are close by as well. Inside, the hotel is a very large property and appears to have many rooms. The reception at is quite large, with many tables and a few sofas. The breakfast room is quite large and they were accommodating of gluten free diets. We stayed in a junior suite. This is a large room, with a double bed (a bit on the soft side) and a sofa bed in a separate small living room. The bathroom was a good size too. Overall it was clean and comfortable. Staff were very helpful and polite. They provide a free transfer to and from the airport. Would certainly stay again and recommend.

AustraliaThe bed linen was dirty on arrival (stained pillow cases, hair and insects on bedsheets). The sheets could have been changed during our 3 night stay. Family members who travelled with us also reported the same issues with dirty bed linen. However, staff were very accommodating with providing new bed linen during the night. The towels could have been thicker/higher quality.
The staff were very friendly and accommodating and gave us a welcome drink upon arrival. Reception staff also allowed split payments for rooms and they helped organise airport transport to and from the airport. The breakfast options were varied and tasted great - the congee was delicious and the French toast tasted just like home cooking. The breakfast room offers an amazing view and on particularly bright mornings, the staff would ensure the blinds were pulled down and additional fans were provided. Room was spacious with an effective air conditioner. Very convenient location with a supermarket located below and the night market (on Saturdays) right in front of the hotel.

Netherlands- Breakfast: a lot of options but (very) low quality. We prefer a smaller buffet with good products - We didn't pre-book the room (walk-in guests) and felt not as welcomed as other guests who had a booking. It wasn't as hospitable as you might expect for this price. Maybe because we came from a day tour and had backpacks with us, we didn't look "decent" enough? - There were many small "mistakes/malfunctions", like a fridge in the breakfast area that wasn't cleaned for ages, a very noisy aircon in the restaurant etc. - The pool is in a different building I felt overall the price-quality ratio wasn't balanced and they definitely oversell their hotel if you look at pictures etc.
Central location, comfortable mattress, clean room, most of the staff were friendly, convenient airport shuttle
