How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Beds are very hard, this is common in the country
I LOVED IT!!! Especially the bath tub! Good wifi, it has everything what you need. Owner is very nice. Highly recommend if youre in the city.

Had some issues with the currency conversion from dollars to local money. Please be aware of that.

Long walk to market/ centre, so taxi necessary on hot days. Need to make schedule for owner to pick up keys when checkout
Clean appartment.Quiet room. Big room and bathroom. Great wifi. Aircon is great too. Comfortable mattress. Kitchen if needed.10–15 minutes walk to river beach and few restaurants.

Nothing. Everything was just perfect!
Everything was extremely clean. The host was responsive and helpful. Our questions were answered immediately. The property was cozy and cute. There were nice local restaurants just around the corner. we had great time there. I recommend staying in Bargi Sabz property to whoever wants to visit the beautiful city of Khujand.

The owner at this apartment homestay were incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout our stay from A-Z. The house were immaculate and very comfortable. We also enjoyed the breathking view of the surrounding and loved the convenient location close to major attractions. It's totally clean and comfy homestay in city centre. We really had a wonderful stay in Khujand, Tajikistan. Gently fully refurbished, preserving the new furniture's details and with a fresh and up-to-date feel. Very clean and lots of space. Easier to park your car as well. Very kind owner and great value for money. It was right in the heart of city centre. Please don't looking for any homestay anymore if you are in Khujand town except to choose this homestay. As fully and truly with sincere recommendation with privacy looking, you should select this homestay!! For sure, we will come back again!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️

very nice, heated and clean apartment, near to Khujand’s centre… very good price the host and his father were very kind and really helpful…e.g they helped me to arrange an (enough) long taxi ride from Khujand to the Tajik/Uzbek border in Sarazm (to Samarqand, where I am now, writing from Registon)..they offered me with my complete surprise a traditional homemade Tajik dish and I was very happy !

The owner responded very quickly and provided me with a lot of local information. The house was very clean and quiet. Although there was no washing machine in the house, they helped me wash my clothes. As stated on the platform, there were no gas stoves or induction cookers in the house for cooking. Rice, but there is a kettle and microwave. :)

Just excellent. Really lovely guy running the home stay. I left something in my taxi and he helped me get it back. The room is lovely, and is basically a private apartment. Thank you so much!

This is a property with just one guestroom on the upper floor. The owners live on the ground floor. Good clean room, with an attached toilet and kitchen. The kitchen was a bit of a letdown. It had a small refrigerator and a microwave but no stove to cook. the location is not bad. You will get taxis, city bus right outside the guesthouse. The owner was very helpful. Good place to stay for a couple of days in Khujand.

Very nice and big room, with comfy beds, a very nice bathroom and a small resting area. You also have a water boiler, microwave and a fridge. There are several markets around the property, as well as few cafes and ATMs. Walking distance to the Somoni Park was 10 to 12 mins, and 25 to 30 to the city center. Ibrahim and his father were also very nice hosts!

A little bit far from the center
Great little guesthouse. It's really clean and there is a new microwave, fridge and kettle. If you have any questions it's really easy to communicate over whatsapp with the owner.

The kitchen wasn't suitable for cooking any proper meals as no oven, hobs or pots or pans but fine for instant noodles and microwave meals. It's bit far from the centre (but easy by marshrutka)
A quiet, private apartment with good marshrutka connections to town. The AC was very good and we had our own space. The host was very helpful, answering all our questions quickly. The kitchen had a fridge and a microwave so was very convenient for breakfast in the morning.
