Max is nice and speaks good English so the communication was pretty easy. The place is clean and the decor is nice and cozy. The best thing about this place is that the water pressure in the shower head is strong and it massages your scalp which is fantastic. Would recommend.

There was some construction noise but Max gave me another room (upgrade with balcony & hotplate for cooking) so problem solved & actually much better.

Value for money, very clean, comfortable bed, quiet at night, value Thai restaurant right next door. Close enough to markets etc (5 minutes on motorcycle), helpful & friendly host, cooking hotplate (in 2nd room), balcony (in 2nd room), Koh Phangnan is a beautiful place.

I liked the room, location and the attention. The room has water boiler, fridge, Aircon, conplimentary water, coffee, shampoo, gel. Max is available on whatsapp for whatever you need. He arranged laundry for me too. I didn't want to use a motorbike but you Can walk to the main road in less than 10 minutes and access to massage, 7 eleven, restaurants, etc economic room

Excellent accomodation, attention and location. First booked for 3 nights but extended for 9 nights. Max is always available, kind and helpful. As is a location with nature around, expect sounds of birds and other animals

The only difference in the cottage is whether you sleep at the front or the back. The front has a hammock and a somewhat nicer view. The seating at the back is limited. We did not know this in advance. But it was fine nonetheless.

We had the best beds during our entire stay in Thailand. Everything is new. We got water every day and had lovely soft soap. We were there for 5 days and there was no fuss about shoes and towels. Other requests were also immediately taken care of. The location is within walking distance of the main street where we rented a scorer (because the ones at the hostel were all rented). There are a number of good places for a delicious breakfast nearby. There are chickens and roosters walking around the entire street. Sometimes they are closer than other times, but we slept best here of all the places to stay because the earplugs do their job! Very competitive price/quality ratio. Would definitely come back here!

After I had no bike, hence it was a bit far from central.

The host was very sweet and helpful. I had a bike accident so he dropped me off to hospital and later on even came to pick me up. As I am solo female traveller, I’m so so grateful for this gesture. Overall, the location is quiet, the place is very clean and new. I would come and stay again. Thanks once again for all the help.

There's everything you need. The room isn't big but it's enough, as you don't spend too much time in it. The host is super nice, speaks good english and respond on Whatsapp in seconds. They have great cheap laundry service, and they bring you 2 bottles of water every day.

Great Service. If you need anything, they bring it to you. All you need to do is ask. They also got me a scooter and a ride to the Ferry Pier at a good price. No duvets but they got me another blanket when I asked. They got me shower gel and shampoo when I asked too. Good size room. Clean. Fridge. Water provided daily. Thanks !

The sheets were old and scratchy and need to be replaced. The pillows were a bit too stiff. There are at least 20 chickens on the land and a construction work happening right in front, so it was noisy.

Very clean rooms, spacious enough and perfect for a solo traveler! AC worked well. Shower water is hot. Wifi worked perfectly. It is not directly on the main road but close enough to things on the motorbike. The host is friendly and communicative.

Absolutely fantastic, the owner max was extremely helpful. The room was clean, the surroundings were tranquil, we rented a new moped which was cheap and trustworthy, the shower was powerful I loved having a balcony I could relax on and watch the chickens with all their babies. PERFECT

I love all the nature in the area: just know that includes some loud roosters. Also note, this is pretty common all over the less urban parts of Thailand, so enjoy :-)

The room is a fantastic value, clean, nice, and peaceful enough. It is about a 15-minute beautiful walk to lots of great spots like the Night Market and plenty of other great food choices and shops. Momma Moh's restaurant is just a 1-minute walk away and has fantastic food and drinks all day! What I liked best about my stay was how incredibly helpful the host Max was while I had some personal issues during my stay. I lost an ATM card and my passport at different times during the stay, and he really went not just beyond expectations but even beyond what I would even imagine to ask in terms of help :-)
