I stayed at the Waraburi Phuket Hotel from May 8-11, 2025, and my experience was very pleasant. Staff and Check-in: The front desk staff were wonderful and attentive. A deposit of 100 USD/Euro is required. The hotel was quite busy, so early check-in wasn't possible; rooms are usually ready by 1-2 PM. If you arrive early, you can safely leave your bags at the reception and explore the nearby market, which is just a three-minute walk away. Rooms: I experienced both the Superior Double Room and the Pool Access Room. The superior room had a huge bathroom with a shower and a tub, while the pool access room had a smaller bathroom but provided direct pool access from the balcony. My main complaint about both rooms was the poor toilet ventilation. Facilities: The pool is long and has a great pool bar, which was a personal favorite. The gym is small but adequate, though some equipment needs maintenance. I also enjoyed the professional and kind staff at the on-site spa, but the facility itself wasn't very clean. The hotel's bar was always empty, so I can't comment on it. Dining: The restaurant staff were kind and hardworking. The food was good, especially the pizza, but not outstanding. The daily breakfast was a bit repetitive. I chose the Half Board option, which offered a limited but satisfying à la carte menu for lunch or dinner. Location: The location is fantastic, with a 7-Eleven, money exchange, and other dining options just a short walk away. Patong Beach is about a 20-25 minute taxi ride. During my stay, a local football match and carnival were happening on the beach, which had amazing street food.

The welcome atmosphere with the Thach staff from the reception made our stay comfortable, Rooms are clean, and the restaurant menu is great, which we can order dinner and get delivered in our room. It's the best pizza ever.

Location in Karon was great. Pool access room was amazing. Great local Thai food with meters from hotel as well as 7-11 and pharmacy. Happy hour at pool bar was great. Sundae at breakfast was so helpful and friendly. Katy at the tour desk is amazing so funny and friendly and helpful. We would not use another tour organiser. Great air con, bed and excellent shower pressure. Spacious room we loved our stay. Pool was clean and beautiful.

Since the building is on the older side, it doesn't seem as luxurious as the newer resorts.

This resort is in a great location since it is so close to the beach. Even though the resort is a little older, it has been well maintained and exceptionally clean. The pool was conveniently right outside my door, and had a swim up bar that had yummy drinks. Great value for money with wonderful meals!

The location is fantastic, there are lots of stores and restaurants nearby in walking distance. The swim up room is the best choice.

The pool had green algae around the edges, there were lots of smokers and people playing loud Russian hip hop/ disco around the pool so it was not pleasant or relaxing . The beds are so hard it was uncomfortable to sleep and my friend had pillows that were moldy on her bed.

The location was fantastic and the staff team were so lovely and helpful. The rooms were large and the bathrooms had been renovated nicely. And the housekeeping was great.

It’s very dated and well used and pretty much everything needs updating or refreshing. Leaky shower, and n uncomfortable bed and very noisy and inefficient air conditioning. No bell boys or other staff not as willing to help by comparison to all the other hotels we stayed at over our 3weeks in Thailand
