There was a lot of bugs, few mosquitos in the room. Some utilities need repairs.

Wow,what a nice hotel in the mountains around Chiang Mai in Mae Kampong The Hotel is a bit outside of the village You can easily walk to the village in 15 mins.,but you should be a bit sporty,because of the landscape It is going up and down to Mae Kampong The staff can also order a pickup to bring you to Mae Kampong You stay in the middle of the forest and a river with small waterfall is passing the Hotel That sound of the water is what made me sleep so good there The staff is friendly, helpfull and discreet My room was very nice with lots of details you can see already at booking.com Lots of amenities were provided too I took a private taxi from Chiang Mai and back for 3000 baht Busses will also go there for a very cheap price During my stay all the restaurants and shops were closing quite early (8.00pm),so be prepared to be a longer time in your room,where you can play games,look netflix,or just stay on your balcony enjoying the nature

i still cannot believe this magical place exists. it was fantastic. the setting in the nature, the food, the little details to decorate the room that added so much value, the architecture and design, ... i would live there if i could.

We visit during cold season and room temperature is around 17 to 19C. It is too cold and there is no heater in room.

Good atmosphere, well maintained facility. Fresh air and we can enjoy river sound during entire stay. The room is big and deco is good. We enjoy breakfast as well

Since the location is very close to the waterfall, it was too loud for me to sleep at night.

The room and facilities are the same as described on the website. It is very family friendly and could be fun to come and hang out with friends. The place is clean with spacious bathroom. There are various menu for dinner including a Japanese style shabu. Breakfast was a set menu, one can choose either American style breakfast or a Thai rice soup. The place is not too far from Mae Kam Pong walking street and just right next to the water fall.

The staff didn’t know English at all. We tried contacting them before but they couldn’t understand anything. At the first night we were very cold and there was no heating. Only one breakfast choice

The location was a little far from us but that not the host fault it was hard to get transport too and from the city and attractions and very expensive process when we did At night it was a little on the cool Side as you are very far up the mountain but not to take away from the accommodation it was a lovely experience living with nature and we as a family would definitly come. Back again

The property is situation far from the centre but very close to nature if you want away from the crowd and a touch of nature this is perfect All the little touches within the lodge made it’s very special They think of everything and it’s all sits well either the theme and very luxurious and quirky at the same time

Couldn’t blame Woo Ma Ca Moo for the chilly weather, but a heated floor would elevate the entire experience especially when it’s during winter (Dec - January)

The room was very spacious and comfortable. It's great that there's a dehumidifier in the room as the area is very humid. Beautiful surroundings and nicely decorated. Quiet and peaceful. The woods is at our doorstep. The gardens are lovely! The meals were delicious and breakfast was fun! We wish they could have a real campfire at night (rather than just as decoration)! Location is also great that it's so close to the village Mae Kampong.

Restaurant had limited dinner options and some had to be "pre-ordered" before arrival, however the hotel never contacted us to tell us about this. Another customer ordered a steak but I could not. Strange!

If we were staying more than one night, we would have liked to have something like a closet for things

A big stylish room and bathroom with a jungle view. Amazing territory in the forest near a small waterfall. Breakfast was very big for us: boiled rice, eggs, sausages, toast with jam and butter and juice. The idea about TV and old gaming consoles is very original (you can play Mario 😀)
