Upon coming back to our room we found one of our iPads broken - it looked like someone stepped on it but we were told by the cleaning crew that they already found this way. As this wasn’t this case when we left the room clearly someone must have gotten in the room and stepped on it. That ruined it a bit for us
Location - right on the beach and close to all amenities . There is really poorly internet in the building but after we complained we got a router which made a big difference

New ZealandWe ordered deluxe rooms which turned out to just be standard rooms a bit closer to the beach. Place is a bit dated and has a musty smell in all the rooms. They have nice bungalows that I managed to look inside. We paid for deluxe and I am sure we should have been in them as they are great.

JapanCompared to countless resorts I have stayed at on Koh Samui, I was dissappointed by the lack of care from staff around the pools and beach. Beach umbrellas are huge and rusted, and you have to struggle like hell to put them up when you need one, damaging your skin on your fingers and hands. Any other resort I every stayed at, staff would coming running as soon as they saw you move towards a beach lounger, and ask whether you wanted the umbrella put up. Also, there were not enough umbrellas in relation to the number of loungers. Hard to find a spot where you do not get burned to death. Vomit-inducing loud music coming out of the restaurant further cut down the number of areas one could find to relax and read a book. Food and drinks are over-priced, which means that the restaurant looked like a morgue most of the time. Nothing "happy" about happy hour - it merely brings the beer down to an expensive rather than super-overpriced level, and only if you buy a bucket of beer.
Rooms are fine. Water pressure is great - painfully strong, actually. Housekeeping is good. Pools are a good size.

Location was excellent, great access to beach. Pretty gardens. Lovely infinity pool. Spacious rooms with comfortable beds. Friendly staff.

United KingdomBed uncomfortable felt like there was a plank of wood in the mattress. Shower was hit and miss in terms of pressure and didn't spray water in consistent directions.. probably needs a new shower head. The bathroom is dated and the shower leaked water excessively on the tiled floor causing a slip hazard and the bath was very small. Basically the bathroom needs a revamp.
The location is good right in the centre of Lamai with a good breakfast venue opposite. The pool is lovely overlooking the sea but there is an element of sun bed wars with a shortage of beds.

IcelandMy room was at the ground floor, very close to the swimmingpool, chairs outside on a small balcony. Wonderful swimmingpool(s), a restaurant/bar just by the pool and a couple of steps and you were at the beach. And the main street is just outside the lobby with everything you need like restaurants and bars, supermarket, night market etc. etc. Staff at the lobby very friendly and helpful.
