Beautiful pool area and sea - perfect for children as lots of shallow options and steps. Best beach on the island. Staff were incredible and like a big family. Genuinely kind and could not do enough for us. Tried lots of traditional Thai food here and it was all delicious. Although the hotel were renovating part of the site, they were very open about this and it did not affect our stay although it will be nice when the restaurant space opens so that you can eat meals with sea views. Would highly recommend. Coffee at the pool bar was cracking. Belting cappuccino and lovely smoothies.

The food was amazing, we ate 6 times there and it was incredibly good all the time. The dishes were our favourite ones in thailand yet and the staff was very nice. Also everything was clean and the hotel is beautiful.

Part of the property was under repair but this was well advised in advance & communicated by the staff with discounted food offerings. Didn’t impact our stay. Beach in parts can be dirty as not all hotels or bars clean in front of their properties, but I u der stand this is seasonal due to wind & sea current conditions. Twin Bay make a great effort to ensure their section of the beach is spotless.

The view from the pool & beach access was spectacular. Staff very friendly & helpful. Location good but need motor bike or car to get around the island. We stayed in a family room which was great, spacious & clean. Good beach & pool access.

Bed was very hard (typical for Thailand). Bathroom was permanently open-air/vented . Missing a few blocks of wall (with screen, but lacked complete privacy in a central area next to pool).

Location was great with a beautiful beachfront view, and stuff was kind, welcoming, and extremely helpful.

During low season nobody clears the area in front by the beach, it's often covered in rubbish and sticks, therefore not particularly nice to go for a walk. We were charged 100B for losing a piece of laminated paper with our room number, which we never requested "in case we forgot our room number for dinner or bar service". You have to take your key with you whenever you leave your room (which has your room number on it), and you are not allowed to have a second key, so this seems a bit pointless and unnecessary.

I'm not a fan of resorts, as I like to go out and about, but my gf wanted to stay in one, so we settled on this place. It was comfortable for us, as the staff left us to ourselves, but if you like to be fussed over, the staff were more than happy to oblige, and we witnessed them engaging positively with other guests. The food and drink was good and appropriately priced, I don't understand previous reviews complaining about "UK prices", you are staying at an upmarket resort, and the prices here are pretty standard for such a place in Thailand, I definitely wouldn't consider it expensive. The beds here are rock hard, typical Thai style (which we loved), and were exceptionally clean, although the rooms could do with a lick of paint (I'm assuming they're waiting until the end of low season to fix this). The swimming pool was clean and deep, although the jacuzzi was not functioning when we tried to use it. Outside, the scenery is absolutely stunning, with plenty of wildlife 24/7. We even witnessed a monitor lizard just along the road from the resort.

    We couldn’t stay longer

We stayed here 2 year’s ago. So pleased we decided to return, it’s even better now with some of the small improvements they’ve made. This resort is clean, friendly, comfortable rooms/beds, fabulous pool which looks out onto the beach / sea. We love walking the beach in the morning & coming back to have an amazing smoothie. We just love this place and highly recommend. Also, only a few minutes from the Night Market which shouldn’t be missed

Bit of a walk to shops and eateries. 12 minute walk along the beachside road towards Saladan is Kaw Kareng (sp?) Seafood restaurant which is good. A couple cheapies down the road just before KKS restaurant. Breakfast at the hotel Ccafe was ordinary and beer overpriced but excellent curries.

Lush tropical gardens between two beaches. Lovely pool facing the sea. Great staff.

A personal preference is the beds are too hard. So much rubbish all along the beach

The location is great, the pool is amazing and the resort is well looked after and maintained. What makes this place is the staff, they're exceptional. We'd definitely go back, preferably before low season starts so we could enjoy the evening entertainment as unfortunately there wasn't anything available last week.

The beach was not one of the cleanest we have seen in Thailand

We stayed here for 4 nights in May and what a wonderful choice it turned out to be. We had initially booked a garden view room but after looking around the resort we found that the sea facing rooms were wonderfully located. We asked for an upgrade and for 500 THB a night we moved into the sea facing rooms. Money very well spent. The room was functional, tidy, with a very comfortable bed, a huge sofa and a fabulous sit out with recliners facing the sea. Noteworthy, was the attitude and behavior of the staff. Always smiling, helpful and friendly, esp Moo, Nick and Alisa from front office and Bees from the wait staff. Housekeeping staff were very efficient too. Their response to messaging on Whattapp was fast and accurate. The food from the kitchen was fantastic and they could prepare the dishes you wanted even if it was not in the menu. Breakfast was really great. I'm stating this in spite of it being low season where there was no buffet breakfast but the staff did not let you miss it, as they were always obliging in their attitude. The location is absolutely on a quiet secluded beach, not the cleanest that I've seen in Thailand, and the nearest big store (Lanta Mart) or 7 Eleven is about 1.5 kms away. There are scooters available on hire, and Moo was so helpful when she showed us one. There is also a wonderful restaurant, Kho Kwang, 800 meters away, from where we got to see some of the most beautiful sunsets.

The coffee machine would need a renewal, but still makes good coffee.

We Booked the Hotel in Low season for low price. There is a pool to relax, but also the Beach in Front of the hotel. So you can see the ocean while in the pool. The staff is very friendly and always smile. The rooms were quite clean. The breakfast was also good. I, especially, Like the Curry at the Buffet. Beware: the hotel is Not close to they Center, so you would need a scooter to get around the Island The Hotel also offers to Rent motorbikes, but there are also cheaper options. Overall really nice and clean hotel, but the prices during high Season Are quite high.

Toilet area had a light sewage smell. Ventilation fan helped. I did have to kill a cockroach in the bathroom, but it's not too surprising for a ground level flat. Not great, not terrible. Could be a problem for a squeamish person though. Restaurant is on the expensive side compared to Saladan town. But it's to be expected for a resort like this IMO. It would be helpful if they installed a cash point / ATM at the resort. I was low on cash and was told I needed to go to Saladan town to withdraw money. Not a huge bother but still worth bringing up.

It's a quiet resort off on the peninsula. Commute to and from Saladan town is easy, either on foot or by tuk (~50 baht). Just a bit over 2km I think. I went diving on several days, which required getting up early. Being near Saladan pier allowed me to get just a little bit more sleep each day. Room was very spacious for one person (or two, I imagine). There's the stone floor at the entrance and extending into the bathroom, and there's a raised wooden floor section for the desk, bed, and sofas. It effectively separates wet from dry and is a very nice design IMO. The desk was at the right height to use my laptop comfortably, which is thoughtful for unfortunate people like me who still have to do some work on vacations. The bed was large and very comfy with the right balance between softness and firmness. Any avid swimmer would be very happy with the arrangement like I was. There's a fresh water main rectangular pool (and a couple of small ones) with generous opening hours. And if you wish to jump in the sea it's literally a few steps away; they got showers too for when you come back. Restaurant and bar are right by the pool, which is convenient. They got plenty of bean bags and lounge chairs too (including some on the rooftop terrace of the bar!) if you need to take a break. Staff was super warm and helpful. Front desk employees generally speak very good English. Others not as much (e.g. restaurant staff), but they all did their best to communicate and help.

Absolutely stunning accommodation. It feels like you are staying in paradise. The 3 star rating is not reflective of this hotel as it is truly luxurious. The pool area and resort surroundings are immaculate with beautiful facilities. We stayed in a beach front suite which was beautiful with excellent decoration, walk on patio straight into the beach and fantastic air con. The food and drinks were lovely and a great choice at breakfast. We really enjoyed taco night. The staff were honestly fantastic, friendly, helpful and made our stay extra special. Big shout out to the resort operations coordinator, Nick, who made our stay comfortable and accommodating. His English was amazing and he arranged all the transfers for us. The whole staff asked us every morning how we were. We also had the pleasure of meeting the resort owner who was also extremely friendly and knowledgeable. Our children were very welcomed and loved the kids room. It was a great place for them to chill out and avoid the high temperatures. Twin Bay is one of the best places we’ve ever stayed and we really hope to return one day. If you are considering booking this accommodation, don’t hesitate as it’s the best place we stayed in Thailand. Thank you for making our stay so wonderful.

Twin Bay is paradise. On the beach, with a pool to jump into when the tide is out, and a quick ride or 20 minute walk to the nearby town, it was the perfect place to wake up every day for a week and base ourselves for island activities. The staff were so accommodating, we will definitely be back!
