The lady running the place was very nice. The wifi works.

The place is totally run down and in need of a serious overhaul. Everything was either broken or totally worn out. Worst of all were the mattresses. They are completely worn out, it was like trying to sleep on a pile of metal springs. Paint flaking off walls, doors to the outside rotten and falling apart. Lockers destroyed. No AC. It wasn't the worst hostel I've ever stayed in but it was definitely one to avoid.

Price is unbeatable

In a good location close- walking distance to a lot of things and a quick car ride to the bigger attractions. It was in a nice quiet part of the town and was not loud at all during the day or night

The rooms did get very hot - even with the two fans going. Brought shoes specifically for the shower which was a good idea since it isn’t separate from the rest of the bathroom.

Great location, free simple breakfast with coffee, free boiling water, good wifi. The bedding was clean, bed was comfy, room kept very cool with the fans. Free showergel. The girl who runs the place is very friendly, it's clear that she works very hard (seemed like she was solo running the place). Seemed very safe.

The pipe that ran through my room was dripping condensation. For those who like to smoke, it was tolerated at this hostel but the smoking area is on a road used by many locals and they ( as well as the staff) did not seem to like the smell....

Quiet and private space, clean. Staff nice and attentive.

The mattress was uncomfortable

The staff was absent except on my arrival. The bed was really bad, you could feel every spiral in your back. The bathroom was not clean, it was very noisy early in the morning when everybody leaves for the slowboat.

Nice hostel, good value for the money, so close to the Chiang Rai bus terminal 3, like a 4 minute walk. The receptionist is nice and happy to help you

We had a wonderful stay! The staff was friendly and helpful, the room was clean and comfortable, and the location was perfect for exploring the area. Great value for the price. We would definitely come back

For this price it’s worth it. Could be cleaner but it was totally fine for a couple of nights. The lady at the reception was really nice. For that money I would recommend.

The upper mattress in the girls dorm was old and dust fell on the lower beds, for this reason they don’t use the upper beds, but they could change the mattress. The bathroom could be more often cleaned because it’s shared. Rest was really ok.

the rooms here the aircon is very good and strong! the room includes a large comfortable bed, good lighting a wardrobe bin desk and chair! the staff explain to you how to get in and out at night etc and the room itself was perfect for our short stay!

the bathrooms on our floor were okay, however we were on floor 3 and when walking up the stairs past floor 2 the smell from the bathrooms was very very bad im not sure why? other than that this stay was fine, the place was nice and clean overall !

The staff was nice, rooms are decent and very simple so you get what you pay for I guess. Good that they provide simple breakfast.

Dust and dirt everywhere. When it comes to breakfast, please if you are going to provide coffee provide tea bags as well. This is Asia a tea continent unlike south america a coffee continent. Its not difficult to provide tea bags.
