EFTPOS machine not working we were asked to pay with cash. We are hoping we do not get charged a second time by Booking.com and have to try to get our money back.

Don’t expect “the ritz” it’s a real Thai home, with genuine people

Location on the beach just a short walk to bars and restaurants of main town. Extremely friendly staff helpful and obliging with a good breakfast included. The main menu food, snacks or real Thai home cooking was amazing and very good value.

All the staff were extremely friendly and helpful, especially Khun Moo & Khun Obb! A couple of requests were met, particularly the delicious Thai breakfast. Excellent location and service.

Intermittent Wi-Fi signal

It's all about location. Highly recommend if you need budget hotel at Karon beach (right on the beach!). At the same time very quiet area, almost no traffic and thus no noise. Within walking distance to shopping/eating and transportation. As solo female traveller felt safe. Very friendly and helpful lady looking after facility, attentive to guests and always available.

Nothing not to like unless your looking 5 star

If your looking 5 star this is not for you. It's a Thai owned/run old style, large room with all you need right on the beach with very friendly and accommodating staff. Ok food very reasonably priced and included breakfast also ok. Clean tidy and safe if a little run down

The building itself is a bit old and tired, but it didn't bother us too much as we were happy to be so close to the sea. (This has been mentioned in previous reviews, too). The protective plastic on the bedroom lamp shades doesn't look great and could be a fire hazard. Old type air conditioning is quite noisy. We didn't realise that the payment hadn't been taken, so it would be better if we were asked to pay on arrival, which is what usually happens.

Great for beach lovers as you are right beside Karon Beach. Staff are very kind and friendly. We had the side room with the balcony overlooking a grove of trees which is lovely. You can hear the waves on the beach all the time. Rooms cleaned every day. Spacious bedroom with good size wardrobe, drawers and side board including mini fridge.

Of course, there are details, that need to be improved. But...most important, for foreign tourists is supporting staff, and we feel that support. Thank You.

Location (direct by the sea) and staff- family team. We were happy in those days, thank You, Mumu and the team! And, if it only would be possible, next year, we will be back:)

The staff were SO friendly and amazing! We loved the house cat too; she was so sweet! The location was fantastic. It was beachfront and out of the hustle and bustle. This was a basic accommodation with a clean room and friendly staff. The price was great for the experience.

Everything was amazing!

Amazing location. Amazing people. Room clean. Top value for money. Beach view from every room. We read many comment about noises from street... we live in Tel Aviv and the room was extremely silent for us..... Heaven!! Unless you are looking for a top respurt with pool, definitely I would suggest everyone Tony Home. Go and make the best out of it. You will not regreat :))

One of the best locations in Karon!!! Incredible value for money. Ask for the room on the side, much better than front facing room as you have a view of the sea and palm trees from the balcony. Large room. It's fairly basic but the price is great and the location is unbeatable!

Rooms facing the beach are nice and light. Mine on the side was a bit dark for me. I like lots of natural light.

Very kind family running this place who will do everythingto help you. Location right by the beach is great. It's a nice chance to stay with local people rather than big hotel chains.

Very nice location just a few steps from the beach away from the commercial area. Your can feel the breeze and hear the waves from your room balcony.

The quilt is a sheet with a blanket, I really suggest to replace them with normal quilt. And my room can hear motorbike outside at night which is noisy.

I choose this hotel because my husband name Tony. Fortunately this is a good hotel. The location is just right front of the beach, which is so convenient, and the view of balcony is amazing. The owner is so nice, smiling all the time, she has a cute dog. The food is very tasty.

right on the beach!! excellent balcony for watching the sunset over the sea… Moo is just lovely, kind, helpful and treats you like one of the family, nothing is. a bother, excellent cocktails! the foods good and the breakfast just set you up for the day! it’s homely and safe place to stay… just off that main drag which means it’s just perfect.
