Cosy Botique Hotel in Old Town

Wifi in room is weak, ok for normal browsing. I preferred to stay on data as i felt multiple devices connecting to wifi was slowing the speed. But it was ok for us. Not a major issue.

A small beautiful botique hotel in the old town area of Chiang Mai. I stayed only for 1 night due to date availability issue. The staff is helpful and they arranged a car for us to drop till Chiang Rai and price was at par with what you get outside. There is limited parking spot but I was fortunate that I got one for our stay. A small swimming pool and a small restaurant which serves breakfast. Options for vegetarian is limited to bread and fruits. Being in Old Town, everything is near by. The room we stayed was quite spacious with a double bed and extra bed. The beds are firm and we got a good night sleep. Lighting in room was good. Bathroom was basic but clean. There could be mosquitoes around but they provide liquid vaporizer machine. Overall we had a pleasent stay.

Amazing little hotel in the old city of Chiang Mai. The staff are super nice and they care about the guests, the rooms are big and spacious and the lush pool is a life saver in the heat.

The pool was not the best, but it didn't really impact us at all. We liked everything, really.

Service was amazing. All of the reception staff were so friendly, especially Minnie! The location was great and close to everything Rooms were comfortable and the cost was reasonable.

The mosquitos and the pool was not clean at all.

Of course, the plants and the garden make it look really pretty, but it comes with his lot of mosquitos, I mean hundreds of them....they try their best to put repellent but it's everywhere.

The stairs to my room on the top floor of the house were very steep (two flights), however the room itself was huge with a beautiful view of the garden and pool.

The included breakfast was very good and the location was easy walking distance to many attractions such as the Sunday Night Market, restaurants, and temples.

    Nothing

The location was perfect, inside the city walls. The hotel itself was beautiful, the decor in the rooms was individual and unique, although the beds were a bit creaky! The outside area was lovely and green and although we did not use the pool, it looked very inviting. We ended up returning after a 4 day break away from Chiang Mai and the staff were so welcoming when we returned. All the staff were so friendly and helpful. The breakfast was nice and they even arranged a little takeaway as we had to leave at 6am on our last morning.

Location wasn't as close as we would have liked to restaurants and markets. Having said that it was a very nice and quiet location.

The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Buffet breakfast was good. Lovely relaxed setting amongst all the plants. Made you feel like you were in a little oasis.

Booked this on the basis of the glowing reviews and was not disappointed. Lovely little hotel in a beautiful jungle type setting. Pool is small but easily sufficient for cooling off. Staff are all lovely, friendly and very helpful. Breakfast is great. Location is in easy walking distance of some great restaurants and amazing temples. But it’s very quiet at night. Can get a good Thai massage there too

Some renovation noise during day from neighbouring rooms but not enough of a nuisance to reduce rating, this is a great choice

Exceptionally friendly and helpful staff with beautifully laid out breakfast. Rooms are well laid out clean, top floor is good, bathrooms overall good, could do with a renovation. Gardens are spectacular and good restaurants accessible.

I think if you paid more maybe you would get a more fancy place, however for the price I think it's perfect.

Breakfast was simple but good. The location was excellent right in the center but down a quiet road. We stayed as a family in two rooms. Both rooms were very clean and nicely decorated. Staff were very friendly and helpful. For the price I think it's very good value for money. Pool small but clean and great to cool off. Massages were also great.

    Nothing.

The 20 Lodge had a lush & green vibe which created a peaceful oasis. Staff was fabulous! Kind, gracious, and helpful. The pool was small, but refreshing. Breakfast buffet was varied. I especially enjoyed the strawberry yogurt, Thai dessert, and hot choice. Good value and short walk to the Sunday night market. Value for your money.

Nothing, couldn't find a single fault, everything was perfect.

Well what can I say, we stayed at 6 different cities on this vacation but this boutique hotel had to be the highlight of all the accomodations we stayed in. From the moment we arrived the staff were amazing, greeted us with a warm friendly vibe, they had our bags in our room for us before I even checked in. The whole jungle jibe setting and ambiance of the hotel was amazing, we could hear all the noises of the animals from our rooms, in particular the frogs. The rooms were very asteticcaly pleasing with an authentic theme and very comfortable. The buffet breakfast was amazing, best i have had anywhere on my travels. Everything was so well presented and a different main dish each day. Also the cook would lay out some traditional deserts to try. The pool area was relaxing and they had a wonderful spa also. They also provided a very cheap laundry service, we would give to reception in the morning and in the evening it would appear washed, dried, ironed and folded at our door. The hotel is situated in a small street just off the main roads beside the canals in the old town. There are plenty of shops, restaurants, local coffee shops located close by and even a barbers & bike rental also available across the road from the hotel. It is cheap and easy to rent a tuk tuk or taxi and the hotel staff are happy to arrange for you. The main attraction of the hotel were the staff who were always so attentive, caring and kind. They greated us each day asking our plans and offering suggestions. One day the staff noticed my husband had been bitten by mosquities and he went and got special cream for him to apply. When we used to arrive back in the evening they would be interested in how our day was. We will definitely be back to stay on our next visit yo Chiang Mai.
