The telephone in the room had a problem with the signal. Calls to other rooms were annoying. A technician had to be called to fix it. I would like the hotel to check the equipment before guests check in.

All staffs were very nice. No matter what help we asked for, they are always willing to help.

Everything was excellent. One of the best if not the best places to stay if you love food. We were able to order food until very late into the night/early morning. Facilities were very accessible and clean.

Lovely hotel set next to beach and town alike. Good location and easy transport to anywhere wanting to go ie nite Market. Firmly focused on family inclusiveness, many couples bringing their dog or cat on the stay with them. Very good breakfast and supporting service. Gardens make a great retreat from the sun. A very relaxing and enjoyable time.

I liked the layout of the property in seperate buildings and beautiful gardens. The restaurant was excellent for breakfast with a large choice. The swimming pool area was large with plently of sun loungers and also a small beach area.

The gym was small and very basic. Not great for a modern hotel catering for younger people. Pool was very busy during our stay. Not enough sun loungers.

Rooms situated at the back of buildings can be quite a walk to the pool/beach as you have to walk the entire buildings length to get a lift down and then walk back the length of the building again. The little pathway amongst the bushes at the back of the building may save a few meters walk but ideally the hotel should have had some sort of secured lift built at the back of the building too. Additionally there were a lot of staff around and not once anyone asked us how our stay was or were proactive about offering a service. Whilst it’s very nice to be left to ourselves and not being asked or upsold every two minutes, some basic things such as someone walking up to you to provide towels by the pool when they see you arrive would be what makes an excellent stay into a luxurious stay. The hotel would probably sell more snacks and drinks if there was a dedicated “walk around” / visible waiter if people wanted something from the bar as not everyone had a phone to scan the menu and order.

Stunning hotel and facilities, excellent location, spotlessly clean, professional and smiling staff - really loved our 6 nights there and we were sad to leave. The hotel really made our holiday in Hua Hin!

A small percentage of the clientele it attracts are a little entitled and I overheard a few examples of people being rude to staff. Not cool.

With booking a villa we’re given access to what was described as a club lounge with cocktails & soft drinks for one hour between 3-4 each day. Only two cocktails to choose from & no other alcoholic drink! Service deplorable & a waste of time. The Standard need to decide is it a club lounge or not as it was the worst I have ever been in. Ended up not using it! Breakfast just ok & nothing special.

The gym was quite small. If you enjoy time in the gym, this may be an issue for you. It's also a little disappointing, in this day and age , not to have a Nespresso type coffee machine in the room in this caliber hotel.

Very cool, little hotel on a beautiful part of Hua Hin beach. The hotel isn't huge, which is very nice and never seems overly crowded. Like oyh Standard hotels, big on cool design. It is also located very close to the walking street. We very much enjoyed our stay and would love to return.
