Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United Arab EmiratesCould install some steps to the beach, currently just a mound of sand to climb down. Wasn’t able to arrange late check out (extra 2 hours) even though it was low season and hotel had approx 10 other couples staying there. Neither thing would stop me returning.
Beautiful. Very ‘the white lotus’. Hotel only open 1 year so in very good condition. Clean. Modern - fully equipped tv and sockets (Netflix, USB/C etc). Great swim up bar. Breakfast had yoghurts fruit cereal pastries eggs bacon sausage then a variety of non breakfast items like Asian dishes. Something for everyone. Bar is not expensive but didn’t try food other than breakfast.

United KingdomThe staff make the hotel what it is; yes, the architecture is stunning and the private plunge pool and sea views are wonderful, but it's the staff who make the hotel experience what it is - from the very approachable GM, restaurant staff, reception, housekeeping, bellboys, gardeners ... everyone.

United KingdomBreakfast was lovely, however, we felt there was limited choice. Also, there didn’t seem to be a standard, turn down service in the evening, we got it on the first night then not again the rest of our stay.
The staff were fantastic, special shout out to Nescafé, Jerry and the hotel manager, Vantas, they couldn’t do enough for us. The pool was lovely, felt at times like we had the place to ourselves and the complementary upgrade was such a lovely surprise.

United KingdomEntertainment is very limited (we had a two person band) and not particularly good. That, plus food and drinks being more expensive than the high street, means the hotel is very empty once the sun goes down.
Wow! What a stay that was! 6 of us stayed for 10 days, with 4 of us in the 2-bed family suite and 2 other adults in a double Sea Side room. Just amazing from start to finish. As soon as we arrived we were made to feel so incredibly welcome by all the staff. Seamless check-in, then buggy to the room and given an overview of the hotel and also our rooms. Beds were incredibly comfortable, rooms clean and the view with your own pool... just sensational. Hotel had clearly listened to feedback since opening last year: more loungers around the pool and hotel sandy area, plus you can now access the beach (though proper steps down would be better rather than sandbags). Breakfast was excellent, especially the freshly ordered eggs as well as 'make your own juice' area. Didn't eat dinner there as we preferred to wander up to the high street, which is full of restaurants (less bars than I expected though), or down the beach. Gym was excellent and never overcrowded. Also had massages at the spa, which though more expensive than those on the high street, was well worth it for the overall experience. Special mention to the staff, including Tea, Nescafe, Tom and Jerry who knew our names after about 10 minutes and always entertained us whenever we saw them or they gave us a lift up the road. Fantastic hotel. Book it. You will not regret it.

IsraelNothing.
The personal treatment, makes you feel like you are the only guest at the hotel. The hotel is very clean and the food was great! I really likes the club car services and the cooperation with The Sands hotel. We were staying with a 1 year old baby, and this hotel was a good choice as it has a nice kida club and we could have used the Sands kids club and pool fqcikitiea as well. Very recommended.

Everything was perfect, this has got to be the best hotel I've ever stayed in. The room with the lovely private pool, the staff go above and beyond on customer satisfaction. Breakfast so much choice. Good sized pool with swim up bar. Quiet beach. Buggy service up to the main road for the restaurants and bars. I would recommend this hotel 100%. Didn't want to leave, big shout out to Jerry he remembers everyone's name and is so happy in his work.

United KingdomThe only two negatives for me were 1) the sunloungers by our pool were under a built in shade. We wanted to be in the sun and the fact that the shade could not be lowered was annoying. This seems to affect very few rooms as far as I could tell (most have soft shades which can be removed rather than a permanent structure like ours had) and 2) people reserving the best sunbeds at the pool and then not using them for hours. Not the hotels fault but they didn't do anything to discourage it.
We loved our stay here. Our two bedroom apartment was perfect, large bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a living area. Having our own pool was great and it got the sun most of the day. The main pool area was also lovely, with a swim up bar. Breakfast had lots of choice. The hotel is in a great location near to many bars and restaurants. A buggy will take you from the hotel up to the main road

SwitzerlandNot much to dislike! Our stay was perfect
Everything was fabulous. The staff was extra kind, attentive to details, the room was gorgeous and even the mini bar prices were reasonable for this type of place. And it’s probably one of the best spots in Khao Lak for sunsets.

DenmarkThe beach is not very nice. The rooms are a bit too small and full of things (we like a more minimalist style)

United KingdomNothing to find fault with.
Every last detail had been thought through, the design, the privacy, the luxury and the convenience. The swim-up bar, the direct access to the beach, the row of restaurants and shops just up the road. The staff are cheery and greet every guest by name every time they see them. It exceeds the advertised photos. The sea view villas as well as the sea front villas are wonderful. With our booking we had two villas so had a chance to see all of them. There is a very large private pool just for the villas as well as a good sized private pool for each villa as well as the main pool with the bar. Once there it is also clear that each apartment in the block section also has their own pool, even on the first and second floors. It felt calm and quiet, although sometimes busy at breakfast, which has everything you might want including the best Thai omelettes, it never felt crowded. Just a handful of children.

AustraliaWe loved everything!
We travelled as a family of 5, myself & my husband & 3 teenage children (14, 17 & 19) We absolutely loved everything about this resort. The staff were amazing, always had a smile on their faces & nothing was ever too hard or inconvenient for them. My daughter celebrated her birthday while we were visiting & the staff made her feel very special with her bed decorated & a cake provided. The shuttle too and from the resort to the main street was such a perfect and convenient touch. We had tours organised through the resort, this was fantastic too.
