Bit of a dead area if you are after a western style restaurant or a bar. If you order from carts and local style eateries, there are several from which to choose. But only if you can speak Thai. This place had a restaurant in 2019 when I last stayed but the area itself - like the majority of Thailand - has seen a downturn in tourist traffic.

It was spotless. Close to the airport. Airport Shuttle 150baht each way.

I have stayed at this hotel several times over the years, but had not been back since 2017. I've been in Thailand past few weeks with family and I booked this for convenient place close to airport. No complaints from anyone in my group. It is not fancy but it is comfortable and clean. Air con has been good, rooms are quiet, no issues with staff. Book with confidence for budget room close to airport or Lat Krabang station for public transport to city. Grab rate to hotel from Lat Krabang Station was less than 80 baht or 25 baht moto ride. Hotel offers airport transfers for 150 baht per room.

We stayed here for just a few hours during a short stopover, and it was exactly what we needed. The room was clean, the beds were comfortable, and it had all the essentials for a quick stay. The location is very close to the airport, which was perfect, and the 24-hour check-in made everything easy and stress-free. I wish the hotel had a strong and reliable Wi-Fi connection, but unfortunately, it wasn’t available during our stay. While we’re used to firm mattresses in Southeast Asia, these beds were extra firm and made it hard to sleep well. The biggest disappointment, though, was the lack of an on-site restaurant. The listing on Booking.com clearly stated there was one, and it was one of the main reasons I chose this hotel. Instead, we had to walk several blocks to the nearest restaurant, and while the food was authentic and good, my 10-year-old daughter didn’t feel safe making that walk in the evening. She even asked, “Why is this so sketchy, Dad?”

My daughter and I stayed at The Phoenix Hotel Bangkok – Suvarnabhumi Airport on two separate occasions for brief overnight layovers near BKK. The room was simple but spacious enough for both of us, with a small balcony that was a nice touch. We weren’t expecting much, so there were no real disappointments. The 7-Eleven just around the corner was definitely a lifesaver; super convenient for quick snacks and essentials. The airport shuttle, while not complimentary, ran every hour, was always on time, and the drivers were friendly and helpful.

There's really nothing I can complain about. Maybe It would be useful to have some ready to eat food or snacks for guests arriving late at night.

It was very easy to contact the hotel and arrange for the shuttle to pick us up despite arriving on a late flight. The hotel is just a few minutes from the airport. The check in process was quick and professional. The rooms are comfortable, well equipped with all necessary amenities. The bed is comfortable and the area is very quiet at night. Breakfast offers a fair selection of tasty food and hot drinks and the breakfast room is clean and tidy. Staff is very polite.

The only complaint we had was that we couldn't control the AC in our room. The remote control for the AC wasn't working, so it was stuck at very cold with the fan speed on high, so we were very cold through the night.

I thought the hotel had a café/restaurant but this wasn't the case so it meant I had to go out in the evening to find something to eat.

Convenient. Walking distance from the Lat Krabang station, very close to the local temple and to shops and street food vendors. The airport shuttle was easy and took about 12 minutes. Satisfied.
