Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

NetherlandsThe resort has great potential, but service and maintenance need urgent improvement. At the restaurant, staff are often inattentive—breakfast is slow, items aren’t refilled promptly, and coffee usually has to be ordered twice. While there are some standout team members who are motivated and friendly, overall service feels disengaged. Prices are high compared to the quality of food, and cleaning is inconsistent. The front pool also requires better upkeep, as some lighting and tiles are loose and unsafe. With proper staff training and better attention to detail, this resort could truly deliver on its potential.
The location and garden are stunning and beautifully maintained. The first pool and pool villas are equally impressive, offering a well-kept and inviting atmosphere. The reception staff and security team are both very friendly and welcoming. The beach is gorgeous, though not the most ideal for swimming

United KingdomWe had a wonderful stay, but there were a couple of minor issues. Our AC unit had to be serviced twice because it stopped working, and the second time, it started blowing out a strange smell. We were grateful to be compensated for the inconvenience, but we do think that some extra maintenance checks on the AC units would be a good idea to prevent this from happening to other guests. Also, it would have been very handy to have a full-length mirror in the bedroom.
The connecting double and twin rooms were an ideal setup, feeling just like a private villa. We were so impressed that our earlier request for these rooms was accommodated. The check-in was seamless and truly exceptional; my husband and I were even treated to a welcome shoulder massage as we waited. The staff were all outstanding, particularly Dee, Smile, Wave, Kiki, Toey, M, and Yaya. A special mention goes to the professional and friendly receptionist who handled our check-in. The aqua session in the pool was a highlight, thanks to Kiki who was fantastic at getting everyone to participate. Sunsets at the beach were amazing. Food was of great quality and catered to your desired spice level!

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The highlight for me was definitely the beach area—it was absolutely stunning, with soft white sand and crystal-clear water. It was the perfect spot to relax and enjoy the sun. While the hotel itself isn’t brand new, it’s still well-maintained and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful, and overall I had a great experience.

Israel*HOWEVER* there is a construction site right next to the hotel. They don't inform about this anywhere on their website, and for us, coming to relax on a quiet beach, this is complete turn off. We talked about this unpleasant surprise to the staff, and they were so friendly and nice and trying to help, and they gave us a lovely massage in their Spa for inconvenience. This is wonderful, but for me, looking for quiet and the sound of waves - this was just not it. without the construction, this would be a perfect hotel.
Tui is a beautiful hotel. Great value for money, stunning views and great pools. Everything is super chill and nicely designed. The stuff is AMAZING - the managers, so friendly, trying to do everything in order to make us feel comfortable, also a great Margarita cocktail and service by Smile, the lovely bartender :)

United KingdomEverything is a bit dated and needs a bit TLC
Breakfast is basic but ok. Beach is very very pretty but swimming is difficult due to the low sea level around there. Pools are ok, one of the swimming pools has a great length to have a proper swim. Gym is small but well equipped. Rooms are quite spacious and everything works fine.

SpainDeluxe rooms (the basic ones, but still they are half-villas) do not have a private external terrace and if you go in three the space is a bit limited. Refrigerator has only 2 cokes per day and water. Dining for the cost of the island is very expenesive.
Wonderful resort-style pool area and manicured gardens. Beach is really good and safe. The separate villas give a sense of peace and privacy.

United KingdomIn Thailand, they have jets to clean with after the toilet. When we arrived, this had poo on it. We informed staff. No one came to clean it and it still wasn’t cleaned after our room was cleaned. The sofa bed for my child was extremely hard. We found some towels to put under the sheet to try and add some comfort. We had a private pool in our villa. We all got in and all had to get out straight away because our skin was burning. Possibly too much chlorine? The main pools were fine. This wouldn’t put us off staying again, I think we were unlucky with ours and could be changed if staff were informed. We were leaving so didn’t have time.
The location, although quite remote, was beautiful. The beach is stunning and it’s a lovely calm place to stay. Lovely rooms next to the beach and pool area and beautiful pools.

EstoniaThe TV was not a smart TV, meaning there was no streaming nor a possibility to screen cast. The AC in the room was a bit hard to understand, meaning it was sometimes very strong, then not at all etc.
Breakfast was really good and there was something new every day. We stayed in the room 306 and it was good and spacious. The gym was also very good. The swimming pools! Although the location is a bit more far off from other things, it was still great for us and it is literally right at the beach.

United KingdomThe amount of rubbish (mainly washed up plastic) on the beach. It wouldn’t take much to clear the beach of this daily, but to be fair it had been stormy so maybe more had washed up than normal as the tide had been very high. The service in the restaurant was really slow, sometimes more than half an hour for a coffee. But really friendly so we didn’t mind 😊 It was too isolated and we couldn’t walk anywhere from the hotel itself. Had to get cabs everywhere. There’s very little to do in the evenings and it’s a pretty quiet resort. Not necessarily a bad thing if you’re looking for a place to chill.
The staff were very helpful and friendly. The 2 bedroom plunge pool villa was a good size. The restaurant served decent food and drinks. The sun loungers were plentiful and no one was reserving them at breakfast or anything silly like that. Very chilled vibe. Decent gym. Didn’t use the spa as I left it too late to book and no availability. My fault.

NorwayAlthough the hotel looks super nice there is still room for improvement in some areas, a few things at the hotel is a little run down, like the walkways from the villa to the pool and the wooden decks and area around the smallest infinity pool. The small gardens around the villas could be maintained better. We were supposed to get 2 cans of coca cola every day in the minibar, but only received this 2 days in our 4 night stay. The restaurant was quite expensive, and they add both a service charge and tax on top of the bill. You can’t pay cash, only credit card or charge to the room, and oddly, when we paid by card for our bill one time, they added an additional 3% charge and told us this was because our bill was under 2000 THB. We had already spent a lot there, so this felt unreasonable. The part we really disliked was how our checkout was handled. We had requested a late checkout at the reception the day prior (since our taxi wouldn’t arrive until 5 PM), but were told we had to be out by 2 PM because new guests were supposedly arriving at 3 PM. We understood and agreed. But at 4:30 PM we passed by our villa again, and the cleaners had just arrived. our trash was still inside, and clearly no new guests had arrived. So being forced to wait in the blazing heat from 2–5 PM felt unnecessary and poorly handled.
The pool is beautiful and the hotel is situated in the middle of the forest, super lush and green surroundings. Everyone working at the hotel is super nice and always willing to help. We stayed at the pool access villa, the villa was spacious, a small entrance area with a sofa and a minibar that gets stocked with water, potatochips, peanuts, coffee and tea everyday free of charge. There was a wardrobe area with a safe, a bedroom with a TV, and a big bathroom. Lots of windows and natural light, high ceiling in the bedroom, nice terrace area and our own aesthetic sunlounger by the biggest infinity pool. They haven’t advertised this but in the pool closest to the sea there is a small unheated jacuzzi, this was nice. There is a happy hour every day where you get two cocktails for the price of one.

ThailandThe air-conditioner had water dripping. They couldn't fix it during the time we stayed. It isn't something so bad, but it just got us a little worry when using the air-conditioner.
The location is quiet and lovely close to the long beautiful beach where we could walk and enjoy every day. There is a restaurant and cafe nearby if you get a bit tired of the hotel restaurant. (But the hotel restaurant is also very nice!) They have several swimming pools so the pool never be too crowded.

HungaryWhile the villa swimming pool is great, it feels exclusive to the pool-access villas, which can be disappointing for other guests. The jacuzzi area at the main pool works poorly and has no stairs, requiring guests to jump in — not convenient, especially for older visitors. The beach becomes unusable during low tide, limiting seaside enjoyment. Prices at the hotel are generally high, and although there’s a happy hour for cocktails from 5–7 p.m., the cocktail quality is only average.Additionally, the hotel is a bit isolated and far from everything; if you stay here, there are few options nearby to explore other places or restaurants.
The hotel is very clean, and the gardens are beautifully maintained, creating a peaceful atmosphere. The reception staff are kind and welcoming. The rooms are elegant with thoughtful arrangements, and the large glass walls make the space feel open and luxurious. Breakfast is tasty and offers a good variety. We especially liked that the villas are separated, giving a private and comfortable vibe.

PortugalWell maintained grounds and swimming pools. Staff very nice, with some having low level English, but acceptable. The location is amazing if you are looking for a relaxed beach. No loud music, the sound you can hear more are the waves crashing on the sand. Rooms were OK and clean. One of the rooms had the shower broken, we complained, but was not fixed during the stay. Breakfast is good, but not great. Snacks for free. Restaurant prices are high, but the island is too expensive overall comparing to other places in Thailand.

IrelandWe really liked our stay at The Passage. A family of 3 - two adults and 1 child. Although we arrived early the staff did everything they could to accommodate us earlier than the check-in time. The Villa's were great with a lot of space a good bathroom and air conditioning, which is a life saver with the heat. I really liked the pool right by the Villa. With it being a large pool you could either swim a few laps of play with the children as it's not too deep. The beachside pool was also great with the bar and restaurant right next to it, so if you needed to get any refreshments - you could. The beachside pool also had a decent number of sunbeds to enjoy the poolside and get a great tan! The Passage has access to their own beachfront and the first few days we caught high tide with loads of water. If you swim out a little further you could also snorkel and find different kinds of fish. Some of the days it was low tide, which meant that you could walk down to Nathon town by the beach. There are a lot of restaurants and cafe's down that road so you could find authentic Thai food, Italian restaurants and cocktail bars! The Hotel offered a huge amount of amenities - gym, massages, transport, rent of scooters etc. The rooms were cleaned daily and the staff was always super friendly on some nights there were BBQ nights where you could get a buffet of different meats with live music. We really enjoyed our stay there!
