Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United StatesThe property is exposed to harsh natural elements - rain, salt air, wind - which takes toll on the exterior walls. I suspect bright white walls are a longstanding branding mark of the hotel (and I can see why, it stands out against the greenery very beautifully), but I would recommend to the hotel owners to consider natural stone or stone veneer (perhaps light gray color which would still stand out like white). It will be more forgiving and won’t show every single imperfection like white stucco does. The hotel is so beautiful and hope it will last many more years!
Fantastic location in a picturesque bay with beach steps away. Terraced architecture and layout makes it feel cosy and interesting to explore - a lots of unique spaces, like restaurants, lounges, bars, all boasting unbelievably beautiful views. Rooms are renovated and well thought out. Staff is super nice, helpful and professional as expected from a hotel this level - well done!

United KingdomThe walk up to the entrance is quite steep and could be difficult for the less able. The elevator only goes to 6th floor then it is stairs for the next three floors.
Breakfast was absolutely superb. with amazing choice and great quality of offerings. Unsurpassed views from the balcony. Amazing weather (but this was lucky - there was a break in the monsoon rains.

AustraliaThere is nothing negative at all about our stay!! On a previous stay at The Nai Harn in August 2022, we wrote a review regarding smoking around the common ground areas such as the pool and the cosmo dining area, particularly at breakfast time. I am so pleased to report that this issue has since been addressed which is so pleasing, thank you 🙏 I’m also pleased to see that there are some more affordable good tasting wines on offer…particularly the V8 Sparkling wine. 🍾🥂😆
We love everything about the resort…this is a priceless location. This was our fourth vacation at The Nai Harn over the last 8 years, this one a long stay. The staff are so friendly, welcoming and genuine. They truly care about all their guests and their experience, extremely knowledgeable and excellent English. We would like to thank the Cosmo team for their brilliant service at breakfast 👏🏼 May, Oil, Mook, Pare, Nan and Fon. Our morning greeting and attention to detail is next to none. Thank you so much for your service! Miss you. The pool team are also equally amazing; Grace is absolutely gorgeous and has a great sense of humour. Kit, Chain are so polite. Their personalities are perfect for hospitality on those lazy days relaxing around the pool, again attention to detail also very high. We have named a few of the staff above but seriously every single member of the reception team, housekeeping team, the spa girls and even the security guard that was all over every detail to make sure we were so well cared for and most importantly comfortable and safe. I think he had a tear in his eye when we left. Truely exceptional!!! It was the most fabulous vacation that will stay with us forever. Thank you so much for the memories and your amazing care and service. We miss you already xox

AustraliaBeautiful boutique resort experience. Stunning views from our room, all the dining areas, the pool etc. Staff were exceptional throughout. We happily spent four decadent days there. Lovely breakfast options too. We like to explore restaurants outside of hotels so tried the ones near the beach (Indian and a large Thai one) which are ok for ease. Our preferred option in the end was a 1.5km walk into Rawai or a cheap Bolt to the beach area. Many places were didn’t discover…next time.

United Arab EmiratesLittle far from the action , u need a scooter or taxi if you want to go to kata or Rawai. Also I have mentioned it to the staff at check out too, it’s best to give a room closer to the pool and elevator for families with kids or toddlers.
Everything was perfect , the beach near by , the comfortable room and bed . The staff were friendly . Food was good . Can’t fault it at anything .

United Arab EmiratesThe Nai Harn is more than a hotel — it has a soul. From the moment you arrive, you’re embraced by its beauty, calm, and warmth. The staff are truly exceptional, always attentive and kind. But what sets this place apart is the feeling — the magical blend of the beach, the views, and the atmosphere. You feel like you could stay forever. I’ll definitely be coming back.

Hong KongWe liked everything!
The Nai Harn was absolutely wonderful with everything you could possibly want from a holiday. The hotel has a complete sense of calm and relaxation around it. The staff are highly professional and so kind and friendly. They go above and beyond to make everything so special. The beach is on the doorstep with the Rock Salt restaurant providing towels, beach chairs and water equipment. We went from mornings by the pool to afternoons body boarding in the sea. You can then enjoy a happy hour at 3pm by the pool and down to the beach for 5pm rock salt happy hour. The food was outrageously good- the breakfast buffet is an incredibly high standard as is all the food we experienced in the hotel and also at the Rock Salt. You must try the prawn spring rolls at the Cosmo restaurant. We are very grateful to experience a perfect balance of attentive staff to having our own space. Thank you Nai Harn!

ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT 👏 We have traveled extensively. This was the most incredible experience. From the minute we arrived at Phuket Airport to the time of drop of to when left Phuket Airport was "A" grade first class. From the time we booked to the time we left, everything was handled in a professional 5-star 🌟 management. The rooms, the pool, the breakfast, the staff, the views EVERYTHING was. Nothing was too much for the staff and the general vibe of the hotel was so relaxed and peaceful and friendly and back in time

This was by far the best place I stayed in Phuket. You cannot beat the views, the staff were incredibly kind and attentive, the food was excellent and it has the easiest possible access to one of the most beautiful beaches. Additionally there is a nurse in residence which because incredibly helpful when a friend became ill.
