The rooms without the balcony had a very small window, not much natural light.

The locals was well located, the property itself was nicely designed and had a very pleasant ambiance. The room and washroom was very nice additionally they had free coffee (not the instant kind but a quality machine with fresh ground beans) , tea and snacks.

Very comfortable rooms and a nice environment to do some work in the reception area or garden, or to just hang out. Good location and easy to access Chiang Mai's sights. Breakfast was good value - cooked (Thai or Western-ish) or continental style - and there is free coffee and snacks available morning and afternoon (although pretty much any time). Helpful and friendly staff and the hotel dog made for a great stay!

Nothing at all! Everything exceeded my expectations 😊

1. Near airport (15-20mins) 2. Easy to find, great location, nearby markets, restaurants, organic stores, tourist spots 3. ALWAYS VERY CLEAN and absolutely comfortable - BEAUTIFULLY DESIGNED SPACE 4. I LOVE ALL THE STAFF - very polite, easy to talk to, very considerate - they even packed our included breakfast because we had an early tour <3 5. The food is always great, wonderful way to start your day 6. There’s always someone at the front desk early, up to midnight 7. They have very clean and reasonable laundry service 8. The area is generally safe to walk home even at midnight I’m definitely staying with them again when I come back to CM :)

No lift

The location was great- close to all the main bars and restaurants. The staff were very attentive and helped to lift my heavy luggage up 3 flights of stairs to my room as I had injured my ankle a couple of days previous. Our group of 4 had plenty of space in the room- the bunk beds were spacious and the double bed was large. Really good pillows. The bathroom was the biggest bathroom we had seen- it had a bath tub and hand washing was outside the bathroom - a quirky set up but we loved it.

Nice smaller hotel in Chiang Mai. Just a short walk away from the night bazar and old town Chiang Mai. Rooms are very clean and have everything you need. WiFi worked very well. However the service of the staff and the breakfast are the reason we would definitely book again if we come back to Chiang Mai :)

The toilets had a slight damp smell, but nothing that would stop me from going back to The Locals!

It's a very homey feeling and had all the amenities we required for a getaway in Chiang Mai. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful, fantastic customer service as well.
