How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Beds bit hard could be little softer. Gym basic couldn’t get treadmill to work and bikes.
Free buffet breaky nice restaurant next door with live music. Really fast hair dryer. Tv and wifi good.

The hotel room was exceptionally clean and comfortable. I like the separate building that was breakfast room and bar at night time. I think the start rating for this hotel should be higher!

Very minor - The fitness center is not in a separate room so the odor from those exercising lingers in an area on the way to the rooms.
This is our 5th stay at the hotel and now our go to when staying in Ranong. We love the restaurant which serves both western and thai food, live music and has a great selection of drinks. And a big plus is the breakfast buffet, amazing choice and even offer it during low season.

Great hotel! Very welcoming and friendly staff. The pool is a welcome from the heat. Rooms are a good size, with amenities provided, and very comfortable beds/bedding.

The restaurant is not at the hotel but about a 2 minute walk so room service would be a nice option that's not offered

There was no soap for the hand basin, only shower gel. There was not much in the way of a view - only overlooking carparks. The windows do not open, so even though it was not terribly hot, we had to use the aircon.
The breakfast is nothing short of magnificent - a huge range of delicious local food, with a smaller selection of 'western style' dishes. All delicious. The room was spacious and the bed reasonably comfortable. I always travel with my own pillow (too many bad past experiences) but in the fact the pillows offered were not too bad. The location is very convenient, right at the top of the 'walking street'. There is plenty of parking.

The cups in the room. When i made tea with the boiling water the handles of the cups became too hot to pick up.
The hotel was very quirky with all the chicken focus.

The hot water in the shower could have been hotter - it was raining outside and cool, and it would have been great if the water was hotter than warm.
My room was really comfortable and the balcony views of the sunset were nice. The bathroom was clean and functional. The welcome soft-boiled eggs were delicious and an amusing touch. Breakfast is magnificent - I'm vegetarian and they had a lot of veggie options and the salad vegetables were extremely fresh and a great choice. All the different egg dishes were great too, in particular, the egg with moringa - a local dish. The staff in the restaurant are friendly and efficient, and the Christmas decorations - including the chicken tree - were just lovely. The hotel is right on walking street so perfect location right in the middle of town. The huge umbrellas were also useful and welcome, and the souvenir shop has lots of interesting local gifts.

The only slight thing would be that the rooms were a bit dated. The positive things compensated for this.
The location on walkings street was perfect for the night market. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food in the restaurant was very good.

My room was rather noisy with all the AC units just across the street from the room, but surely not the case for all
