The breakfast should see some improvement! There are lots of mosquitos, so mosquito nets are must, as well as more comfortable balcony chairs! Gym is outdated! We had difficulties with the shuttle transport from the room to the reception, as it never showed when booked. Also, we waited 1 hour for the check in (the room was ready at 15h), but offered a free cocktail at the bar while waiting. All in all I would say that this hotel is a little bit pricy (at least beachfront bunalow) for the facilities it offers.

The beachfront bungalow was amazing, big rooms with a beautiful bathroom. We liked the beach as it was near the Chaweng center but still far enough from the chaos. The staff was super friendly!

The bathroom in our family room was in very poor condition. The rooms are spacious, but they need significant improvements.

The location means you can’t walk on the beach into Chaweng without trespassing in next doors hotel or walking back up the main road. Limited number of subbed Gym and 2nd pool are not very accessible. Very steep hill if don’t use golf cart.

The room looked unique as it was partly in a cave, but this caused lots of dead space, making the room much smaller than advertised.

Staff in reception seemed a little unwelcoming. (Maybe too busy) And bar / restaurant staff not very service oriented. Very relaxed and laid back - there if you called but not super attentive. (Missed opportunities for upselling F&B - offering additional drinks etc.)

Beach Bungalows were very cosy. Great breakfast daily with the restaurant right on the beach. Very efficient housekeeping and friendly staff. Superb beach front with beautiful clean sea for swimming.

It seemed that the hotel's infrastructure was somewhat outdated. Mechanical keys (one per room) instead of cards, somewhat outdated furniture in the rooms, no elevators in the main building. But that's not bad, rather the hotel needs renovation. But the biggest and only complaint about the hotel is the very poor performance of the air conditioner in the room. Perhaps it was only in our room, but it could barely cope with even minimal cooling.

Nice place to stay and relax on the beach during summer. Water is clean and calm. Stuff is nice and friendly. Nice breakfasts.

Cleanliness of our room was a bit of an issue. We had very little shower gel provided on our first day and it was never replenished. The room wasn’t swept properly.

The location is phenomenal. The staff, especially the ladies at the pool bar and the gentleman who served us on the beach were professional and friendly.

The pillows were very high, the mattress was very hard. Both were resolved by the household staff. The cab cars were a bit disappointing, we booked on three different occasions and the cab cars never arrived, or left before we arrived (we literally got,off the phone and walked,to the pick up point and they had left.

We had a lovely bungalow on the beach, the view of the ocean and beach were lovely.

The airconditioning unit kept blowing hard onto the bed and then cutting out. With only a doona supplied, it was too hot under the covers, so we didn’t sleep well. Moved to another resort.

The first room had an overwhelming musty, mouldy smell that had been sprayed with a scent so it was all mixed together. Tried to air room out but it felt unhealthy and damp so rung to see if we could change. Were offered a scented candle but that is just masking it so they changed to a room 2 doors down. It still had a damp smell but not as bad. Rooms very dark and mosquitoes could come in the small crack on patio doors. Hit and miss whether you had warm water in shower. Very nice surroundings but very dated now

Some staff were lovely but many seemed to be in training and the service at the bar and restaurant in the evening is slow even though there were very few people to serve. The staff appeared unhappy. It is a bus or 10 minute taxi ride into the main town of Chaweng although we did know this when we booked. To book any trips out you need to leave the hotel and it’s a short walk to the booking office. However, there is only one here and therefore no choice as to who you want to use.

We stayed in a deluxe bungalow which was a step away from being on the beach with sea view and two steps away from the restaurant and swimming pool. Perfect. The room was lovely, comfortable and clean. The resort is big and we needed to use a buggy to get up the hill to the main reception which meant booking and waiting for it to arrive which mostly it did.

We had to move rooms twice (first time was due to the room being on 2 levels and unsafe for our toddler - not the hotels fault; second time due to issues with aircon)

Breakfast was okay but slightly limited. Food menu throughout the day was very nice. Housekeeping all lovely and kept the room spotless. Pool area great for kids and close to beach. The hotel is much nicer than the pictures make it look.
