Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

GermanyThe room is very small. We traveled with a lot of luggage and a small child, this wasn't ideal in the small room. We only stayed two nights and didn't spend too much time at the house, which made it not bothersome, but I would book a larger accommodation if I was staying again. There are free bikes to take to town or the beach, but unfortunately most bikes had no air in the tires. It is relatively far from everything (which is why we loved it), a car is handy as biking in the dark is not recommended. Laundry service didn't seem to be available.
It is really pretty. The garden and the little wooden houses are stunning. You hear a lot of birds and nothing else. The pool is long and has a comfortable temperature. Breakfast is served and tastes good. We had a house next to the road, but the road was quiet at night and didn't bother us. It was very well kept and clean. The porch of the house is spacious and nice to sit on.

ThailandThe location is a bit far from the city, which could be inconvenient if you don’t have your own transport. The rooms, while charming, are on the smaller side—especially if you’re staying with kids. Being traditional Thai-style houses with wooden frames, they can get a little noisy and shaky when people move around. Overall, it’s a great place if you’re looking for a peaceful, nature-connected experience and don’t mind being away from the city bustle.
We had a pleasant stay overall. The facilities and beautifully maintained garden added a lovely charm to the resort. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful throughout our stay. We especially appreciated the availability of free bicycles—it was a great way to explore the surroundings. The food was another highlight: clean, tasty, and freshly cooked to order. Pricing wise felt that it was quite reasonable for the facilities offered.

SwedenAn amazing resort just 20 minutes south of Hua Hin. Just a short ride from the beach. The houses are in traditional Thai style. Super cozy. The rooms are not that large but make up for it in style. The staff is super friendly and hopefull. The garden is the real gem of this place so beautiful. Everything about this place is beautiful and pretty! Even the breakfast is beautiful 😍

PolandA small paradise. Beautiful resort located in a lovely garden. Fantastic breakfasts. Very nice service. In December, there were almost no mosquitoes so you could sit on the porch in the evening. Nearby are two shops selling essential items. The charming beach is about 7-8 minutes away by bike, which you can use at the resort. Everything is excellent; only the bikes need a minor repair.

Netherlandsthere were no scooters avlb for rent, nor did they have a service delivering them. So we had to rent them in town, which is quite a distance from the hotel.
Breakfast very nice and the small houses were lovely with good working Aircon. Beds were good and there was no noise, so we slept very well. Free bicycles are nice, but could be in a better condition...

United KingdomThere are only a few cycles that are just about roadworthy.
Beautiful surroundings of trees and plants all kept very clean and tidy. Lovely clean pool with plenty of sun beds. Very quiet and peaceful. Good options for breakfast with friendly helpful staff. Comfy beds and useful fridge. Rooms are small but large covered verandas. Short walk to the local beach with plenty of sun beds, much nicer than the city beaches! 20 minute cycle ride to quiet sandy beach at the Eureka beach club and Pran Buri national park. Restaurants 101 and Juergen’s within 5 and 10 minutes walk. Both highly recommended for good food, friendly service and relaxing atmosphere.

CanadaThe rooms were clean and beds comfortable, but the room size was small (accomodation with two rooms side by side) if we had stayed for longer this might have been a small concern if weather had required that we be indoors.
Every thing was fantastic, including the pool, the staff, the breakfast, the services

United StatesThe location was a bit far from the markets and main attractions of Hua Hin but getting a taxi was very easy. Great place if you want to relax by the pool and have some solitude.
I absolutely loved my stay at Thai House. The private bungalows were so charming and the small size of the resort felt like you were in your own private oasis. The staff was so kind and the breakfast was amazing. I took advantage of the bikes for use and was able to ride to the beach for sunrise and coffee. Overall great experience and would absolutely be back.

Australiait is a fair distance from Hua Hin, 20km, so a hiring a bike is needed and are available from the resort.
We liked everything about it, it was I quiet time of year I suppose. There were no screaming kids around and after a few days in busy Bangkok, it was the best. we have stayed at many resorts, some with 5 stars. Thai house deserves at least 4 star's.
