We were a bit disappointed because kid's slide was abcent although in the photo - it's one of the main reason why we choosed to stay at Surf&Sand

The room was comfortable, most things is alright, the swimming pool is clean. They gave separate sets of towel for pool and shower. Food they cook is really good.

the kids playground on the picture is not here anymore which is why i booked it at first it was a little expensive for my dog to stay (500THB/night) if it was cheaper i would stay 1 more week

The resort is located close to the kampong houses and security was minimal; anyone can gain access to the resort. Ants kept coming into the bedrooms and toilets although we threw trash outside. The table and chairs seem worn down and the toilets have a sewage smell. The location was rather off hua hin town so you need to drive to get around. The picture reflected a playground but the playground was torn down.

It was a combination of two connecting rooms; one one-bedroom with living space and kitchenette and another bedroom. We liked that the living space was large enough and there were ample balcony space. There was a wading pool suitable for children which we liked, and they managed to get us a cot for our infant.

I felt bait and switched by this place. It shows it to be close to the beach, but there is really no access right by. Also, the room they show in the pictures is just setup odd. You enter the room from the pool side and the door to the actual entrance you don't use and I understand why. The property next door has about 5 roosters on the ready to wake you up early. The staff was hardly formal. Check in was just a mess and since the room didn't reflect the pictures (hiding all the problems with it), they upcharge me to change rooms even thought there were no other customers but one. Overall, just another dupe of a listing.

The pool was wonderful, never crowded and always available. Room was spacious and clean. Food was amazing. Staff were very accommodating.

A bit of smell in the bathroom, although I've encountered this often in the tropics. It wasn't moldy so it didn't really bother me. Lock on the front door could be better so it's more convenient to leave and enter. I used the back door instead.

Breakfast was great, well done and good value. The location was close to most places of interest, but not in the thick of things. It was calm and quiet for the most part. Beach is very close and it's a really good long beach. I enjoyed running and swimming there.

I thought there was a playground based on the pictures, but I didn't see it. It would have been nice for my toddler, but we still enjoyed the stay and plan to stay again the next time we go through Hua Hin. 😊

We really enjoyed the stay, the room was great especially for the price. We needed a cot for our baby and the staff was quick to bring it to the room and set it up for us. The room had a small kitchenette which was great when we needed to warm up the baby's bottles. The bed was so soft, probably the softest bed I have slept on in Thailand. The room was clean and comfortable. We unfortunately didn't stay long enough to swim because we just stopped for the night, but the pool looked clean and there were nice pool chairs. The staff was nice and helpful, we didn't have any problems but the checked with us to make sure we had everything we needed.

Since I stay in the 4th floor the water pressure in shower is not satisfied.

The location is a bit out of the way, but you can get a taxi for 15 Baht into the centre of town.

We books this hotel as we saw there was a playground, but when we arrived the playground was no longer there (as we had seen in the pictures) the toilet was so stinky, I requested to change rooms but staff said it is a sewer/plumbing issue and it came and went at different times of day. Staff did try their best, but they had limited capabilities. My Air-con was leaking and i told them and they said they'd check but never did. No one cleaned our rooms once in the three days we were there. The breakfast was underwhelming. The nail in the coffin for me though, was being woken at 530am in pitch black, by a family of 4-5 kids screaming loudly and playing in the pool. No one came to stop them, i asked the family to be quiet but they kept playing and i complained to the staff on the morning and they didn't apologise or say they'd talk to them etc. I def wont stay again but i can see why the place is appealing for others (maybe that have gotten a lower rate than we did or don't have any kids)

Nice and clean wimming pool, very close to the beach. Pet friendly hotel and the convenient kitchen and big fridge.

Nice little resort tucked away near the beach and all the shops and restaurants you need. We rented a motorbike 2 minute walk from the resort.
