This property is maybe my favourite place I’ve stayed while backpacking in Asia. The people who run the hotel are super friendly and helpful. They helped us find places to get haircuts on the island, there were kayaks on the beach that were just free to borrow for the day and we saw some very nice private beaches only 5 minutes away. We could rent bicycles for just 50 baht a day and motorcycles for 250. The food is great for all 3 meals and cheap too. You can get large beers for 100-110. The actual bungalow is pretty basic but you have a fridge and good AC and you’re right on the beach and have a little patio where you can see the sunset. Getting to the island isn’t super easy. we took a car from Trang, followed by a long tail boat (50 baht per person or 350 for charter), then we took a motorbike taxi to the resort for 100 baht. But definitely worth it

EVERYTHING! There were issues of overbooking at the time of our stay and Sam addressed these seamlessly - with really zero inconvenience to us, actually staying at next door resort. He continued to act as our host and we benefitted very much enjoying hospitality at both resorts. The chalet was comfy with full recliners on the beachfront terrace catching the late afternoon sun. The beach here is pure paradise - at sunrise, at sunset, in the midday heat from under a parasol, for beachcombing, for swimming, kayaking ... only occasional longtail boats come and go. It was truly a wrench to leave here. Food and drinks (special shoutout to the cocktails) great - and really reasonably priced for hotel. Bike hire a breeze and a joy to ride on the islands safe deserted roads . Excursions & onward travel sorted effortlessly by Sam.

The resort is located on a wide beach, among trees, birdsong and in a quiet location. the owner and his family always smiling and extremely helpful. They organized airport transfer, a fantastic trip to the national park and many others. The food in their restaurant is wonderful, especially the curry, fish, crabs and shrimps. From the bungalow there is a view of the sea, from the terrace you can admire the sunset. Thank you for a wonderful stay. We will definitely come back to you!

The perfect place to stay for a quiet island vibe, friendly staff, bungalows on the beach and with everything you need right there for relaxation (restaurant, Thai massage, bicycles & motorbike rental, free kayaks, warm & gentle sea, clean beach and resort). Wonderful people that run this laid back budget accommodation in a super location. Excellent value!!

The Sukorn Andaman beach resort is an excellent value for a bungalow directly on a long beach with a warm, calm sea..perfect for swimming, kayaking and relaxing. Everyone is friendly, quiet, respectful, and easy going. Great Thai massage and restaurant here too. Highly recommended!

Bungalow was right on the beach, it was clean and safe and the restaurant food was excellent. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful. We rented bicycles and a motorbike at a reasonable cost. Very relaxing environment and great swimming, hardly anyone around.

I've just spent 7 wonderful nights at Sukorn Andaman and, first off, would like to say a huge thank you again to Sam, Rona and everyone for their superb hospitality !! Nestled on a beautiful, quiet beach, the resort is full of character, authentic charm and the relaxed, friendly vibe simply cannot be imitated. Guest rooms are super clean, comfortable, with everything you need, including great AC, beds and shower. And, not to be out done, the kitchen produced some of the tastiest food I've had in Thailand. However, it's the exceptional level of service that really sets them apart. Absolutely nothing is too much trouble. Truly go above and beyond. So, hats off to all at Andaman. The ocean is calm and beautiful, but it’s not transparent as some could expect from the marketing of the sea in Thailand. This is not reflected on the property description. We had nevertheless a great time there and enjoyed the most stunning sunsets ever. The stuff is very friendly and helpful

It's not the property problem but island wide problem - the rubbish is accumulating even on deserted beaches :( And it's local people that don't care about it.

Really peaceful and slow atmosphere. You won't find there neither loud music nor party. Please, protect this precious gem!

Know where you are going. There is no blue lagoon water and white sand. But there is so much space and calmness in the beach.

It’s small and very quiet island. Super calm and relaxing place right at the beach. Not many tourist and if, then all elderly people. We were the youngest in the whole island resort(travelling with 1,8y baby) Accommodation is very low key but you get what you pay for. Food good and very fairly priced. The owner super helpful and always around. Helped us with all logistics when arriving late and leaving early. Even made us a route plan for our next destination.

Best resort in the South in its category. Khun Sam and family are at the top of hospitality management. Delicious homecooked healthy cuisine. Super value for money. 700 meters clean beachfront. Clean air and water. No stingy beasts not in the water nor in the sand. Flawless transfers also between all the islands in the Andaman. I'll be back !!
