I had a relaxing stay at Starlight Haadrin Resort. The location is beautiful — right by the beach and just a short walk from the center of Haadrin. The bungalow was simple but clean and cozy, with a nice terrace to enjoy the view. The atmosphere was peaceful, perfect for unwinding. The staff were kind and helpful throughout my stay. I would happily return for another quiet beach escape.

Small family hotel opening onto the beach. Online photos are accurate - what you book is what you get. Staff were very helpful. If you want a quiet location 15 minutes walk from the party beach then it's a great choice.

Staff friendly. Close enough to Haad Rin to walk in or get taxi and once we had scooters used them to get everywhere. Far away enough no noise after full moon party. Room comfortable. Clean. Fridge and water. Basic but what we paid for and would stay again.

Nothing related to the accommodation itself, but you better have a scooter if you want to explore other parts of the island as to go anywhere taxi charges 150baht per person at least to bring you anywhere. Also, you must be brave and a good driver as the roads are veeeeery very steep. Be aware as well that depending on the time of day/tide the water might cover the sand of the beach, so you have to walk by the road instead of the beach.

The small bungalow is adorable; perfect size and was very clean and well looked after. Staff was helpful and very friendly. The location is quiet and reserved, what was appreciated, you don't hear any loud noises, but it is also a walkable distance from the other beach with more night life and many shops. We stayed in one of the bungalows near the road and didn't think it was noisy, it is a 2 min walk from the beach anyway. We had a very good time here, chill vibes, perfect view of the sunset and we even got to see monkeys across the road from our bungalow!

Good value. 15 walk to town centre (you can walk along the beach). Quiet location but bars and restaurants along the beach as well as in Haad Rin (pun pun restaurant very good, tree bar very good). Air conditioning, tea and coffee in rooms. Fairly basic but comfortable bungalows. family run. hammocks outside rooms. Right next to the beach. great choice for Haad Rin!

Wake up, step outside, and you’re on the beach. Restaurant (Odyssey) 2min walk up the beach was lovely! Adorable doggies coming to visit. Plenty of beds, chairs, hammocks to relax on/in. Taxi service next to entrance. So close to the Full Moon Festival too.

There was no staff anywhere and the one lady that was there didn’t seem to know anything or speak English. The restaurant wasn’t open and we were given no clear instructions when we checked in

Food was a bit poor........All she could cook for breakfast was eggs on toast. Nothing else. Coffee very good though. She was a cold indifferent manager. Money ignorant like some Thai business people are.......Cleaning staff very nice though........It sort of felt like they had replaced hospitality with cleaning. Maybe they think it's the same thing .

Stayed here with friends for the full moon party. We didn’t have high expectations due to the low rating but we were so pleasantly surprised. The place is really lovely. Right on the beach. Rooms were clean and spacious. Walking distance to the full moon party but still away from the craziness. Staff were lovely.

Paying a tonne of money for a fan room. I appreciate that it was full moon so prices are raised. I booked this room a very long time ago then full moon changed their original party date. Instead of honouring my original price, the hotel wanted to jack it up. We agreed on a price but it was more expensive than what I was quoted when booking. I didn't like my bungalow being right next to the water tank and it was the only one that didn't have a have a hammock.

Friendly staff, nice bungalows and less than 15 minutes from full moon party so close enough to walk but far enough away when you want to get away. Also loved having the beach a 30 second walk to end of bungalows.

Look, it is not a brand new accommodation, but I liked the charm.

My bungalow was close to the ocean. I was using the hammock on the verandah a lot. I could easily walk to the Full moon party and had a quite night after the craziness.

Nothing major at all, it’s maybe a small bit dated but that is to be expected at the price. There’s not a great selection of food at the restaurant but there is plenty of other beach restaurants which we enjoyed very much literally 30 seconds walk away.

We booked this property over the full moon party and it was perfect for our needs. You are within walking distance from the main part of Haadrin beach and still far enough away that you can get some peace and quiet when you want it. The staff are wonderful and it was reasonably priced compared to the other options around. All in all a really nice place to stay.
