It can get very noisy around the pool especially with some children from less caring adults who let them scream and shout so beware, it may not be peaceful 😌

Had dinner one night, chicken Masaman was horrible, just one chicken leg bone in the curry with mostly fat and skin on it, no onions either just potatoes, and mosquitoes inside the restaurant with no a/c ☹️

The only downsides were: 1) the gym is not very much equipped and is small. 2)the location-requires a scooter/taxi in order to go anywhere around the city.

The room was very spacious, the pool is stunning and the staff are really nice and accomodating.

The staff and Smile Lanna made the stay exceptional - answering questions, accomodating requests, and making us feel welcome in every way. Location of the hotel is convenient as well - just outside the old town of Chiang Mai and close to the airport. We will be happy to return again!

We returned from a day trio at 9.00 PM and the hotel's restaurant was closed. We asked the receptionist if there was anywhere we could find some food. She said that all food outlets nearby would closed. Next day we saw a restaurant just round the corner, open till 10.00 PM.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Smile Lanna. The hotel felt like a perfect little oasis during our stay in Chiang Mai and we were sad to leave. The property and the gardens are beautiful, our room was spacious and the staff is absolutely amazing, going out of their way to make my birthday extra special and assisting with arranging medical care for our 2-year old. Thank you for everything.

Brilliant hotel 😍😍 in a great location with plenty to do near by. Room was big and clean with very comfortable bed. Has a nice pool in the centre with a great atmosphere surrounding it. Staff where extremely friendly and polite especially the security at the front. Food was delicious and very well priced. I will 100% stay here again if ever im back in chaing mai.

The swimming pool is not that big and very crowded in the afternoon. Highlights of Chiang Mai not within walking distance.

Nice, spacious and clean rooms with a comfortable bathroom. Breakfast very extensive with fresh made eggs and a coffee bar. Staff was very helpfull.

Be aware it's a family resort so lots of noise around the pool .

Staff extremely friendly, free shuttle bus to the airport and the night market, and complementary snacks and pot noodles. Due to short stay we didn’t get the chance to enjoy the swimming pool.
