CambodiaThe door wouldn't lock . Mentioned to staff but wasn't fixed. The lady at the reception attempted to overcharge me on room extentions ( asking more than booking online), onward travel, and laundry. This blatant attempt to rip me off is not a good look.
The room was clean and the bed comfortable . I appreciated the refrigerator in the room.

Location is walking distance from the pier. The staff were super nice and helpful. We could rent a motorbike for 200 baht/day. The room was comfortable and had a mini fridge, plus a cute outside terrace to sit and relax with a clothes drying rack to hang towels and swimsuits which was super convenient rather than hanging everything inside the room. The reception has a little area with a kettle and coffee/tea. I would stay there again for sure if I come back to Koh Mook.

United KingdomWe knew it would be hot with the fan, but we were on the end room with the sun beaming in, so it was even hotter than expected. If we came back we’d go for the A/C option!
We really enjoyed our stay here. The owners were so lovely, and a good laugh. It was super helpful that they sold water onsite, and also offered tuktuk rides. We did laundry here and everything was super clean and ready very fast.

But on days with normal temps everything would be lovely! It’s in a good location in town but if you are really wanting a beach then it’s better to stay near Charlie beach

DenmarkThe family rooms 2nd madras is not on a bed but on the floor. The resort allows smoking in front of each bongalow, that isn't so nice, not to mention next to family rooms.

Lovely place - excellent value and nice location on Koh Mook, only a few minutes walk from the main street. I stayed here 3 nights and would have happily stayed longer. The room was clean, the staff was kind, helpful and friendly. I found the WiFi strong enough to work from, both in my room (A2) and in the common outdoor area. They also have a laundry and taxi service which was a great bonus. There is a wonderful little restaurant "Good Luck" within 50m walk that serves delicious and affordable food.

BelgiumI strongly recommend to book the AC room instead of the fan rooms, not because of the AC itself but because there is no hot water or flush in the toilet in the fan rooms, which I wasn’t notified while booking. The toilet of the common area does have flush so I don’t understand why the fan rooms don’t. What is also very annoying is that they allow smoking on the fan rooms which means that you get smoke in your room even with the door closed. Not nice for people with breathing issue.
The staff is so kind, always ready to help. The common areas are very well maintained.

15 min walk from Muk Pier or 50 Baht per person taxi. Nice and quiet. Bed firm! Great staff. Staff will clean when you need it. WiFi OK! Next time I'm on Muk I will stay at Smile Resort! Next door the restaurant called Good Luck the food was excellent, cheap and quickly made. I had most of my meals at it.

The location of Smile resort is excellent, close to good restaurants and the beach! We stayed in the resort for 6 nights (we initially wanted to stay for 4 nights, but we fell in love with the island on the first day and immediately extended our stay). The room is not huge, but it has everything you need (after all, the island is beautiful, and we spent all days exploring the island, we only went to the room to sleep). The shower heater broke on the second night and the staff immediately ordered a new heater, shipped it over from the mainland and replaced it the same day! Coffee and tea are available at the reception throughout the day. They also offer scooter rentals, organizing tours, transportation, laundry service, etc. The staff is very friendly and always willing to help. I would like to give a special thank you to Pattama, thank you for always providing us with all the information and helping us organize transportation to the airport in Trang. Thank you for making our stay so pleasant :) I recommend staying at Smile Resort to anyone who is still deciding where to book accommodation.

The room was really cute and calm. The small space was used wisely, and there was also a small terrace where one can chill. Bed was good and not too hard. The personnell is great! Would definitely go again :)
