I understand it’s a hostel but worst hostel ever, unless you don’t care about privacy, clean ness and being right next to the party, go for it.

There's a nightclub underneath so you can hear loud music in all dorms from 7pm until somewhere after 2:30am. It's so loud that the rooms vibrate a little... Out of 5 bathrooms there was only 1 with a faucet and that one hung halfway off the wall. There were a lot of hair on the restroom's walls and shower shelves (if not missing entirely) looked dirty. The beds were very hard and there were no curtains for some privacy

but you pay the price of that with the horrible facilities. I tried to use the bathroom as little as possible as it looked and smelt like it hadn’t been cleaned in months. The beds are so uncomfortable and the whole hostel vibrates with the loud music that goes till early in the morning every night

The feral children who stayed here. Woken in middle of the night to someone taking a pee on the floor. Finding a poo on the toilet seat rather than in the loo and flushed. Sand gets absolutely everywhere and it never seems to get a full deep clean. Toilets stink. Cobwebs everywhere

Location is spot on if you want to party all night and have a 30 second walk home. Bang on the beach front. Cheapest on the island for a reason but always packed with new guests. Hot & cold showers!

The toilets were disgusting, felt so dirty holes in doors, toilets looked like they hadn’t been cleaned in months and it stank horribly toilet seat was stained! Also the mattresses weren’t the comfiest took ages to fall asleep due to the hard mattress and loud noise but overall was one of the cheapest hostels there.

Location is good if you are one that likes to party it’s right next to all the main good beach bars clubs so don’t have to do any long walks back when you’ve had a lot to drink! It’s also right on the beach.

Everything pretty much. Location - don’t be fooled into thinking you’ll be having a nice affordable stay on the beach, yes you will technically but expect the loudest most obnoxious parties happening right outside that are hosted by god knows who, maybe the hostel themselves?? But expect to get the worst sleep you’ve ever had, expect the bass to shake the whole building, beds, windows. Everything. Imagine trying to sleep on a bed that’s in the middle of the dance floor. Facilities - I tried not to vomit everytime I tried going to the toilet, taking a shower and just doing my make up in the bathrooms. It reeks of piss and shit and somehow blood? I don’t think the smell will leave me. It’s barely cleaned, sand everywhere (which technically isn’t the hostels fault because people don’t take off their shoes) but I threw away a takeaway box the day I got there and 3 days later it was still in the bin with a bunch of other rubbish just piled ontop. There’s basic facilities, a bed and a just about bathroom. Cleanliness - pretty shit oh and they just brush the dirt under the bed so if something falls under there either expect to leave it or retrieve at your own peril. Staff - barely saw anyone, there’s a guy who’s sweet and friendly, other than that not really. But in general they’re nice. People - this isn’t reflected in the rating as it’s not the hostels fault but if you love parties and staying out all night then this place might be good for you although even the party goers staying there were complaining about the noise (parties end at 3am I think). Oh and some knob brought a guy back to the LADIES ONLY dorm. Idiots. It should be labelled a PARTY HOSTEL. This side of the island is loud and awake all night pretty much. If you value your sanity, stay in the centre or the other side of the hostel. When I booked this place it somehow had a 5 rating then when I checked the day I got there it went down to 3.9?? Idk what’s going on with this app.

The photos do not accurately represent the hostel. The bedroom was nicely airconned, however the beds were un comfy and the room was unclean (I wanted to put my bag under the bed due to there being no lockers but it was full of rubbish). The bathrooms were absolutely shocking, me and my friend avoided using them where we could due to the state of them. Some did not even have sinks. They are not cleaned regularly and smell appalling. Despite it being on a nice beach, we were not aware it was attached to slinky’s (a nightclub), it was extremely loud and difficult to sleep.

straight off the bat we got moved rooms 3 times as the rooms weren’t ready properly when we got there. you’d probably get better facilities in Baghdad than in this hostel, showers hardly work, toilets smelt like a rat died up the drain and the beds are like concrete so getting a good nights sleep is hard.

The bathrooms are terrible, a total of 5 shared bathroom stalls, 3 of which say "temporarily closed" on old signs. regardless, they're filthy, with broken components and no soap. There are many signs saying don't wear shoes but i wouldn't step on that bathroom floor if i were you. Also the entire place is right on top of a very loud nightclub, I stayed on a Friday night, don't do that. The sound and bass of the club is very noisy in the dorm rooms, if you must stay here on a fri or sat night, bring earplugs to sleep with.

Sleeping bedroom was great, clean, no issues. Staff sets your bed for you. I slept in a room with about 16-20 beds. The staff was friendly as well, and do good tours, very cheap, mine was only 500 baht for a halfday, well worth it, there an additional tax of 400 baht to go to on land at maya beach, but going on land is optional, I stayed on the boat and was fine with missing out. Also you get your own locker for valuables.

no one knew where it was we were walking round for 10/15 mins and it was above the slinky bar the whole time, bed was hard. shower not very good, staying above the bars very loud but fine if your not really wanting to sleep.

The beds were the worst I’ve ever slept in (felt like concrete). the AC was in really high so hot cold. you are right above the club so the music was really loud until 3am.
