Everything was absolutely great! Super well organized from start to finish — smooth check-in, fast and easy communication. The place was clean, cozy, and exactly as described. I could rent a scooter directly through them, which was super convenient. Overall, a really relaxed and hassle-free experience. I would definitely come back. Thanks for the great hospitality.

The only thing was the shower temperature was hard to control.. it was either really hot or cold, no in between. Other than that it was perfect.

The room was incredible! Everything was amazing, comfortable and the view was beautiful. We loved our stay and the guy who welcomed us was lovely as so helpful during our stay.

The road coming into could do with being finished as it can be dangerous to turn into it on a bike.

This was such an incredible getaway. The staff were fantastic and so helpful. It was peaceful too but most of all it was the design. The owner is so talented and every tiny detail had been thought of. Just fantastic. I would stay here again 💯 🙏🏻

Can’t think of a negative, maybe adding more shelving near the sink?

All was perfect, it’s incredibly beatifull and well decorated, close to everything but in a calm environment where you only hear frogs and geckos during the night. Will come back for sure.

A unique, very well designed treehouse property. Really enjoyed the space and being in nature and in a modern, new space. Also, the staff were amazing. Zaw especially was very helpful in getting us a scooter and washing done etc.

Just a tip that you should be comfortable renting a scooter, if you want to make the most out of your stay here.

Great location on a hill with amazing views. The lodge is still close to restaurants, bars, and shops. You can tell that the owner paid attention to every little detail, providing books, a yoga mat, music box, plates and cutlery, etc. Another big plus is that they organize your pick-up and drop-off at the pier, which makes traveling here super easy. We had an amazing time here, extended our stay for two more days and still were not ready to leave this place after a week. We really hope to come back one day!

Maybe the only thing that could be improved was communication before you arrive, like a message to ensure your booking is confirmed and provide any details. In my cabin you needed to clim a ladder to the get to the bedroom which I really enjoyed however that may be an issues for older or injured guests. However I think other cabins may all be on one floor which is easier. If they can keep the buildings well maintained in the tough Thai climates Shiva Lodge will just get better and better at the tress grow and that expand the facilities. The road to the property is a bit steep, however nothing impossible after 1-2 goes! I walked up a few times as I didn't have a scooter but much easier with a car or scooter. And it isn't very long. Really being picky here because overall it was a fabulous stay!

A lesson in good design! Shiva Lodge was beautiful and the host was very helpful and kind. The owners were nice too. Organised a scooter rental for me and ensured I was taken to the scooter shop. The scooter shop then drove me home afterwards. They provided a free taxi to the port on the day I left which was very kind and unexpected. I think I had the best cabin out of the set, but they are all spectacular. They have everything you need in a good sized space. I felt very at one with nature but also safe and sound in my cabin at night. It was comfortable, private and all the details had been thought of an accommodated for. The location was a bit out of the way but nothing too far away, it's a very small island after all. You need a scooter though to make the most of your time there or you will be taking taxi's. Also you are not far from the main road, 5min away from restaurants and shops. Great for those who want to see a bit more of the island. I really enjoyed my stay and felt very restored and reconnected with nature when I left. Would love to return one day and highly recommend the space.

It's no easy to arrive at there if you have not a motorbike... Well, like a lot of nice places in the island...

The staff, especially So, was very kind. The cabins are amazing, and has a breathtaking views.

The only downside it’s that the location is in a hill, quite steep road to get there, so a bit hard to walk up that hill, but honestly almost all is in a hill in Koh Tao, and the view is beautiful!

Architecture and design 💛 and it’s all surrounded by nature — a well and carefully maintained little jungle Very clean 👌 Staff were extremely nice 🙏 Details: we had books in the room at our disposal, nice readings! Location: it’s kinda in the middle in relation to Chalok and Sairee beaches which was great to do by just walking.

Everything about shiva lodge is incredible, its a newly opened accommodation. The houses are incredible, everything is perfect. From waking up to birds chirping and having a coffee on ur balcony. The area (garden) is well mantained. Although they dont serve breakfast they give fresh coffee/water and bananas every morning. They even decorated the bedroom for my boyfriends birthday, even gave a breakfast voucher as a gift. The staff is amazing! Nothing was too much. They can also provide laundry service / scooter rental. Also they can pick up up from the pier for free

We had the most amazing time at Shiva Lodge! Everyone was so kind and welcoming and we felt very much at home. Our AC was not as strong as we needed it to be (but I think it was a technical thing and wasn’t like this in all units). Also, when booking this place take into consideration the accommodation is high (a part of the beautiful design) and you need to climb the stairs. The staff helped us carrying our equipment. Location wise - if you don’t have a motorcycle you will need to take a taxi which will cost 400-500 bht anywhere.

Everything is really well thought of! The design is amazing, the terrace with the net (perfect for late evening snacking and watching a move), the staff is so attentive and kind, even the books they offer in the room are great. Really a one of a kind stay.

Good looking property with a good taste in design and attention to detail. Privacy, beautiful view from the lodge and a comfy bed. The staff were super friendly and helpful, and free fruits from the garden were left hanging on our door in the morning. The property is located on a hill giving it a peaceful vibe. We rented a motorbike which made moving on the island way easier, but the location was overall good!

Shiva Lodge it's a brand new accommodation in Koh Tao island The location is great, just a mile away from the pier and on the way to one of the best beaches The rooms are so impressive, so many details, a really comfortable place to stay Finally, the owner and the staff are extremely helpful and kind

Despite the room being beautiful, there were a few things about the facilities that were lacking: Our shower flooded the room entirely on the first night because the drains were all clogged (staff sorted that out immediately the next day) The air conditioning was not actually cooling the room because of the way it was built We found a nest of ants in the room that got into a lot of our food (again the staff helped out immediately) The reception staff, despite being very nice and helpful wasn't near fluent in English so we had to wait a few times for them to call the manager.

Nice small hotel in a remote and quiet location just outside of the city, the room and decoration were beautiful and we loved the soft bedsheets. We had a few issues in our room during the stay and the staff was always super helpful and quick in trying to help. The hotel is quite new and still needs some finishing touches but it was great value for money for us.
