AustraliaThe hotel has lots of stairs and slopes not suitable if you have any sort of physical limitations, even people in their forties were struggling with the stairs and slopes if the buggy drivers were not available it would be a nightmare. Pool nearest the reception has a total of 12 sun loungers and no table or chairs what so ever - guest were leaving towels on the sun loungers and not returning as it was not clear where to leave dirty towels, which resulted in other guests assuming the loungers were taken (no staff member on duty near the pool at any time) Realise this is beyond the control of the hotel, but road outside the hotel if like a race track and has no pavements, which can be quite dangerous in the rain or dark.
The staff were amazing from check in, to buggy drivers (who were so efficient and friendly) breakfast staff everyone we met related to the hotel, room was cleaned really well every day - good selection at breakfast and pool ordered at the pool area was basic but good.

United KingdomThe facility is very old. The air conditioner is very very loud, it s so loud that we had to switch it off and on through the night. The restaurant is quite expensive. On the last day, we have been given 2 options: either late checkout by 1 hour or a shower room later in the day for an hour; not both. Considering the hotel was at least half empty, 1 hour late checkout isnt an appropriate extension not to mention we cant have the shower room if we prefered the late checkout. In all of the 5 star hotels I have stayed, they are both available to each customer.

AustraliaThe property does feel quite outdated. Some areas of the interior could definitely use a refresh, and the overall atmosphere didn’t quite align with what you’d expect from a five-star resort - it felt more like a strong three or four-star experience.
First things first - the staff at Sheraton Samui were absolutely wonderful. From the reception team to the parking gate crew, cleaning staff, and restaurant wait staff, every person we interacted with was warm, welcoming, and full of smiles. They were always happy to chat, remembered our room number and even what we liked to eat - such thoughtful, personal service made our stay feel special and easy. The buffet breakfast was exceptional: a generous spread with something for everyone, no matter where you’re from. I loved that I could try something different every morning.

PolandThe kids club was a disappointment. The exterior part of it was old and not maintained. The interior was small and didn't have many toys. The beach area was OK, but there was some garbage. Not the hotel's fault, just the whole area was often washed with some garbage here and there. It wasn't terrible, just don't expect postcard-like views.
The breakfast was spectacular in every aspect - great variety and changing frequently, delicious and buffet was very elegantly arranged, the sea view was fantastic. My 3yo daughter loved the swimming pools, especially the shallow ones. There were many restaurants to pick from in the area.

AustraliaNot much to dislike, to be really critical it is getting older for the price you pay but everything we tried works and clean. There was a really bad smell on occasion, not sure if it was ground water or sewerage. The forest/jungle can get very loud with insect / frog noise(dawn and as the sun is going down) but that's out of the establishments control and part of the experience.
Breakfast good, beach great, pool good. The beach was the standout for me. Calm, relaxing and a short walk to a decent snorkelling spot. The hotel is a not a new flash high end place but it's clean, comfortable and good location. Had the amenities you need for a enjoyable stay.

ItalyThe receptionist had mistaken and charge of room rate about triple time 150,000 baht (seem they try to cheat us because we stay there 2 night but they didn’t inform us suddenly, they inform us when we check out and just say sorry only). For cancelled process need to lock our money for 15 days. How come for 5 star hotel? Another thing that my italian husband has take a walk and falling down in waterspout in front of hotel during walk back from dinner and he got hurt and get some wound because in front of hotel near the main road is too dark, I was really upset for all the thing that happened.
