We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Secret Beach Bungalow. The staff were extremely attentive and genuinely friendly, always going above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The food was excellent, fresh, and full of flavor. The bungalows themselves are charming, very comfortable. Even though they are officially rated like a two-star hotel, I honestly felt more at home and relaxed here than in some four- or even five-star hotels I’ve stayed at. The view is simply breathtaking and unlike anything else – it makes the whole experience unforgettable. On top of that, the price-performance ratio is practically unbeatable. I can wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone who wants a mix of comfort, warm hospitality, and stunning scenery. I will definitely come back!

The bungalows are quite basic but this adds to the charm. The location is quite isolated so a motorbike is advisable. Taxis are easily found up on the road.

Perfect solo escape, peaceful and uplifting! I stayed here alone and had a truly wonderful experience. The staff were kind and attentive, making me feel welcome from the start. The beach is beautiful and feels private, which was perfect for quiet relaxation. The restaurant was great, and the whole place had an amazing, peaceful vibe. Ideal for unwinding and recharging.

Ants. After a while, quite a few of them would gather in the bathroom, and we had to deal with them daily.

Secret Beach is a true gem on Koh Phangan. There are people around during the day (we visited in mid-June), but it’s never crowded. The bungalows are located in a small nice area, we really enjoyed relaxing in the shade of the trees. During the day, the tide goes out quite a bit, but the beach is still beautiful. The food is delicious, and although the staff’s English is a bit hard to understand, they are very helpful.

Perfect for people who want’s some quit time . No shopping close by. So if you don’t have a vehicle, it’s not so simple to reach 7/11 or any other place .

The beach is beautiful and clean. The room had exactly what I needed. A comfortable bed from which you see a fantastic view of the green garden and the sea, the water pressure in the shower was great. The staff gave good service and were really helpful

While a parking area is provided, it’s more suitable for scooters than cars. We had to leave our car up on the roadside. This wasn’t really a huge problem as there was a hard verge in to the side of the road, so the car was safe enough.

Secret Beach is a stunning beach that is perfect for relaxation. The beachfront bungalows had their own private area in front, separated from the beach, that was nicely shaded. Each bungalow had 2 sun beds & beanbags which could be brought onto the beach if you wanted. A nice touch was the mosquito net around the bed, although clothes pegs were needed to hold the edges closed. There were guys sweeping the areas outside the bungalows and the beach early every morning, keeping them clean. 2 bottles of water were left on the porch every morning and beach towels were provided. The bar & restaurant at Secret Beach Bungalows was second to none. Food was absolutely delicious.

The owner of the resort is a woman named Camila and she is very very nice and available for any request. The staff is excellent and very smiling. The location is excellent and the beach is clean and pleasant and literally a minute from the bungalow.

The beach was really crowded (and quite noisy) over the day. We (an older couple) chose another beach to relax.

Extremely happy with the bungalow right on the water. So peaceful and beautiful (until the beach crowd arrives). The 'resort' has only a handful of units, truely wonderful. Value for money was great in our case - but the room rate tripled the day we left (due to the full-moon parties everywhere). Since the bungalows are nice but far from luxurious, asking 300 € or more per night is ridiculous in our view. A great plus-plus: The restaurant ("Lost and Found") is sooo romantic at night - and serves great curries.

The location is surreal, so beautiful. The restaurant made us breakfast even on the day the kitchen was closed. It’s not cheap, but it’s worth it. The bungalows are very comfortable and the food is tasty.

Day trippers

Great spot after 6pm when most leave, in day many day strippers come for the beach, which is very small. After they leave it is extremely peaceful

Perfect location right on the beach, you literally have your private little piece of secret beach! Restaurant super tasty and exceptional service - I forgot sth but no effort was spared to make sure I get my things back (Thank you!!)

We stayed in a superior beach bungalow for 2 weeks which was perfect. Hot shower, hair dryer, tea, coffee, comfy bed. Secret beach is in a great location we hired a bike and managed to explore the island from here. The food for breakfast lunch and dinner including the cocktails were all great. The best part was the staff who couldn’t do more for us always with a genuine smile. Thank you we highly recommend Secret Beach and will return 😊

Very expensive, although it was new years week but 200€ per night still felt very expensive for a 2 star. Overhead shower head did not work. Toilet made noises all night (faulty mechanism). Local town had no character or life and you had to travel to get a feeling for the island.

Although all of thailand is plagued with ants and bugs, they could spray some more repellents to cut down on ants and mosquitos in the bungalows.

Nice and bright bungalow with great architecture / design (deluxe bungalows), great small beach, very friendly staff. Good restaurant directly at the beach and amazing sunset restaurant in walking distance (the wave).

Beach gets super crowded with day tourists. While there is restricted space in front of the bungalows, the beach and restaurant is full of people. If you look for a calm place you only get it in the evenings and mornings.

Very nice little beach with lots of green jungle in the back. The deluxe bungalows are amazing, bright, modern, comfy. Nice bar and restaurant directly at the beach with super friendly team. Amazing sunset place in walking distance (the wave sunset restaurant @ bar)
