No restaurant onsite, but plenty of great options less than 5 min walk away. Breakfast was a bit limiting for us because we stayed so long, we had eggs and toast - not complaining was still delicious

We stayed 2 weeks at Sea Escape, and already miss the beautiful bungalow by the sea. The view is phenomenal, right at the sea where you hear the sound of the waves at all times. Special shout out to Fim who really went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable.

There were a couple things that we thought could be improved. First, there aren’t super clear directions as to how to get to the property. You’ll have to be attentive to signs and likely ask people along the way where the property is. Second, the main windows/doors looking out to the ocean are completely covered with water condensation if you leave the AC on for any length of time. We love waking up to looking at the ocean, but you simply cannot because of the water condensation. There is so much that it pools at the front of the doors. We would have loved to have screen doors and not use the AC, but there are no screen doors. If you leave the glass doors open, then mosquitoes fill the room in no time. Lastly, we forgot to order breakfast one of the nights for the next morning. If you forget then you don’t get any breakfast. I wish there was a better way to make sure that customers have their breakfast.

It is a beautiful property that is quiet and nestled right beside the ocean. The rooms are modern, clean, with nice finishes. The water pressure is great for Thailand. We liked the idea of the breakfast, which is a set menu that you order the night before. We would have enjoyed this more if there were more gluten-free options. We loved how the staff brought us our breakfast right to our patio table each more right on time. The ocean is calm and refreshing. Directly in front of the property has quite a few rocks on the beach and under the water, however there is plenty of beach that is just sand up and down the beach. Downtown is just a short 15 walk on the beach away. We loved walking at sunset either to or from the restaurants each evening.

This was my absolute favourite hotel! I loved staying here. I felt super comfortable during the stay. The room was very clean, the bed very very comfy and the bathroom, especially the shower lol, was really nice. So was the interior of the room; so cute! But what mostly stood out was how friendly and helpful the staff was. While everyone was amazing, i really want to point out that the young woman that was at the reception mostly in the morning/noon was the sweetest and so so helpful. I’m sorry, I didn’t catch your name. I would recommend everyone to stay here and enjoy the gorgeous sunset on the beach right in front of the hotel :)

Futon mattrasses are not my thing, - but that is a personal choice. Nothing to complain about!

A very nice place, right at the beach. (Be aware that the beach is small at high tide and stony at low tide. So don´t expect to play Beach Volley or similar!) The room was comfy and clean. The staff was very helpful and served breakfast to your terrace. We had an issue that needed repair and it was done in no time. As the place is at the beach they offer a shuttle to the main road, which was very helpful.

Really lovely small resort on a nice beach. Bungalows are spacious and nicely decorated with enough space for your clothes. Bed was very comfortable, air condition good and quiet at night. There is a fridge/mini bar, a safe, an ironing board, umbrellas, a beach bag, a water boiler with tea and coffee and a television that you can watch your streaming platforms on. you can get beach towels in the reception building, as well as breakfast, or just coffee, beer, drinks etc. Staff was very helpful and went out of their way to make us feel comfortable. They also organise a motorbike for your or have a free shuttle service up to the main road with a lot of restaurants and shops. the small beach in front of the hotel is very nice and you can get sun chairs or bean bags from the hotel. the atmosphere is very peaceful, lots of birds everywhere and truly a place to relax. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Really nice property and landscaping, cute villas. The villas are perfectly arranged, so that you have great view from every one of them, and only few steps to the beach. Villas and whole area was clean (including the beach swiped every morning). Staff were friendly, helpful, very accommodating and arranged anything we needed. They offer ride to the main street (which is about 600m away) during the day, which comes really handy. Everything was amazing!

Small but well designed room, comfortable bed, good shower. Seafront bungalow on a narrow, lesser visited stretch of sand. Peaceful place just near enough to the main street. 10 steps to the sea, 10 mins to 7-11 Staff were great, cleaning good. Exceptional location. . Quality room. Good value for money. I can't think of any issues and would love to return, so overall it's a 10

I liked everything!

I travel to Thailand many times a year for work and before flying home, I always escape to the beach, somewhere. This resort will be my future go to place. It is heaven on earth. The words that best describe Sea Escape Koh Chang are serene and beautiful. The gardens are magical. The rooms are spotless. The beds are so so comfortable. The sound of the waves, frogs and insects at night are transcendental and the staff are absolutely amazing. The free shuttle service into town and back was an added bonus. The resort’s baristas need to be congratulated, best coffee ever! Don’t waste your time going to the cafes up the street. The onsite coffee is perfect! Landry service was so cheap and again, impeccable. The beach outside the property is gorgeous, the water clean and clear. I did not see a single piece of trash anywhere. Beautiful sunsets and quiet location. Looking forward to coming back and spending a much longer time here.

It's relatively far from the main street with restaurants, shops and bars etc. I mean like a 7 min walk so not too bad at all, just feels it. They do offer a free shuttle though so at the end no issue at all.

The bungalows are very stylish, very clean and feel all new inside. The beach front ones are amazing, but the ones located on the little hill are also really nice and you can see the ocean (a little) and hear the waves. Relatively quiet part of the beach. Small but fine breakfast menu, which they bring to your balcony. Quiet at night, no restaurant or bar.

Inconsistencies in restocking the fridge/coffee/etc. Not a big deal because I could go to the office and ask for anything that was missing but thought that I would mention it.

Amazing stay! It's located in the best side (south side) of Kai Bae beach, which is much quieter and has a few shady spots. Main strip is also acceptable and in walking distance, but the accom provides a shuttle service anyway The property itself had great views and the grounds were laid out so there's chill out areas which had a nice vibe. Snorkels were also provided. Room was really nice and comfortable/high quality and has everything I needed and again, breathtaking views. Staff were also all very nice and helpful too!
