Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomWhen I texted them asking about slippers, a hairdryer and a liquid soap, they answered it's a 2-star hotel, they don't provide those. A liquid soap doesn't cost that much, so I got one for myself from 7/11 for my one-week stay... The hairdryer I got probably for the reason because that was the last thing I asked for, and I ended up crying when they told me they didn't provide that either. I was quite disappointed by the whole room. The bed wasn't the usual "hotel room cosy" and the chairs were uncomfortable. The location is not the best, but it's good enough. Also, on my last day during check out, I ordered the same food like I ordered 2 times before already. They brought me a different one, saying it's the same. When I showed them the picture, they changed my food. I was wasting time, which I didn't really like. But it was worth waiting for the food.
I liked the rooftop and the support from the staff when I ended up crying that they didn't even have a simple hairdryer - they found me one. The food is delicious and the prices are fair! The gym is ok. But again, the rooftop during day and night, provides you with a beautiful view over the city.

SwedenThe rooms weren’t that nice. The bed was hard and you only got a thin blanket, not a real duvet. The sink in the bathroom clogged all the time.
The rooftop area is the best thing with this place. It’s big so there’s plenty of space to hangout, and the view is great.

SpainIt was a kind of messy in the lobby, a lot of stuff and boxes, it doesn’t look nice. This hotel isn’t good for people with walking problems, a lot of little uneven steps. The staff could be more friendly. The roof with swimming pool isn’t very inviting.
The area is great, ok….maybe a bit far from the centre but the area was nice, with some shops, restaurants and a nice “roof terrace “ Very nice little garden terrace in front of the hotel.

PakistanThe only think i would say needs improvement is to make available more English speaking staff to better facilitate the visitors. Else, everything was great.
The overall experience was great during my stay at Saint view service apartments. The pool on the roof top is just another level fun to enjoy pool as well as the great view of Bangkok. Highly recommended to stay.

ThailandStaff was unable to find my prepaid booking in their system. This was a problem using Booking.com though. Driving a car there was a nightmare. The hotel is on a one lane one-way street that narrows as you go down it. They have car parking for 100 baht a day fee however, it is about 80 meters from the hotel and you have to leave your car blocking the street just to walk to hotel to tell them to open the gate. Causing problems with other people who must wait you to move your car.
Location was quite. Nice garden to sit in front outside.

Japan...
There are two ways to walk from the BTS station to the hotel. Sathon 15 Alley is a 6-minute walk through a quiet residential area, and Soi Charoen Rat1 is a 10-minute walk through a famous restaurant serving delicious gai yang, a good quality tea shop with a bargain price, a massage parlor with skilled techniques that will refresh you, and a 7-Eleven that is always open. You can fully enjoy the local atmosphere during your stay. And Allah willing. It is my hideout. Be sure to choose a 40 square meter room, and you can take a break on the balcony with a great view.

PhilippinesThe microwave did not work. Our floor smelled like some kinda chemical. My partner said it kinda smells like marijuana. The hot water in the shower is not stable. It was difficult to get food cause the location is not that easy. We have to walk 10 to 15 minutes to get to a place where we can eat. The bed is not that comfy cause i can feel the springs of the bed, and it's visible too. It's like the bottom of the mattress, but the top mattress is missing. The place is not well maintained. So many unused furniture and stuff around the place, esp in the lobby.
We have a big room and the place has a pool. 20-minute walk to the nearest food court and grocery (TOPS). 7-ELEVEN is a 3-minute walk. The staff are friendly and accommodating. They have a mini store inside. They have billiards for 20 bhat per game.

ThailandCost. For ~550 baht per day. I can say that its worth the price. You have the basic needs in a room. For travellers that most of the time outside and only wanted to have a private room to sleep, it is worth it. Otherwise if you plan to have staycation, its not worth it.
