Great Staff, perfect location

The bungalow was a little tired in sense that a few tiles felt loose under foot in the bedroom and blinds had seen better days , however didn't take away anything functionally and more of an observation than a complaint. The apartment was extremely clean, large and well equipped. Our air conditioning did stop working half way through our 10 day stay but after notifying reception they offered us an alternative room or repair. We didn't want to move and it was fixed the same day, so there was not an issue.

A beautiful spot. We had 2 bungalows...one beachfront and one seaview for our sons. Great for watching the sun rise if you're an early bird! There is a really relaxed vibe about this resort, its not got the polished high end finish but we were after something more comfortable, relaxed and traditional. This delivered on all aspects and more. We had a friendly greeting every morning for breakfast (great breakfast) and when dining in the evening....the staff were really attentive and efficient. We walked to Lamai a couple of times, but good local restaurants a few minutes walk from hotel offer really reasonably priced alternative to the hotel restaurants. The taxi service from the hotel entrance is reliable and cheap ( and really friendly drivers) so could get to chaweng, fishermans village, airport or any where with ease. Housekeeping was great, with refreshing / replenishing towels, bedding and water daily. This place oozes rustic and friendly charm and we would definitely visit again.

Realistically need transport as not close to walk to any main areas. By afternoon the beach is very busy with other visitors. Pool can feel crowded at times.

Set in a beautiful cove, the beach is lovely. Stayed in a hill top view room with excellent views. Hotel has pool table and table tennis. Fire show on the beach was really great!

The rooms are very basic and the shower kept on overflowing but the rooms were cleaned everyday to a decent standard.

The location is wonderful, right on the beautiful Crystal Bay. The gardens and surruonding areas are very green and tropical. The pool area is nice but could do with a little update. We really enjoyed the sunbed cabins which faced the beach. The staff was great, very friendly and attentive.

Some of the staff like housekeeping was really friendly but the guy at the front was grumpy and made me feel funny.

I liked everything!

The rooms are very spacious with great wifi and great aircon. The cleaners come daily and restock the fridge with complementary water which was nice. The resort has everything you need, from a laundry service to moped/car rental, there are shops and a 7/11 a short walk away, the beachfront is amazing and the restaurant serves great food.

Getting woken up each morning by staff sweeping out the front. No big drama though, they were just doing their job

The lack of wardrobe or drawers was a minor inconvenience. If you were staying any length of time, it might get annoying

The beach cove was lovely. Great choice for breakfast cooked to order. Large villa was clean and comfortable. Water provided daily and housekeeping great.

Very quiet, not much to do past 8pm

The beach was amazing, one of the best on the islands. Location was ok had to get a taxi to Lami fishermans and chewang. Snorkeling was great too and the fire dancing twice a week was good.

Perfect little cove with everything we needed for a family holiday. Lovely food at the restaurant, good variety. Beach is gorgeous with good snorkeling. Comfortable rooms and friendly helpful staff.

We stayed at Crystal Bay Yacht Club twice during our month trip as we loved the location right on the beautiful crystal beach 🏝️ First time we had a standard bungalow near the pool and the second time we stayed in a hillside bungalow- both were comfortable and modern with a large tv and good standard bathroom. The resort restaurant is right on the beach and offers a large menu with vegan and gluten free options and the staff were helpful altering meals for me! Pretty tasty food and was a great option for chilled dinner at the room when we had a chilled night 👌 There are 5 cabanes for customer use along the beach front which were a great addition and we used a lot! Would recommend visiting the Lamai night market ( we went Fridays but I think it’s on most nights) which has amazing food stalls (including a vegan Thai street food stand!), shops and live music. Would stay again! Thank you 🙏

Only thing that let it down was no furniture to put your clothes in and the shower blocked everytime you used it.

Some nights there were loud neighbours drinking, singing and laughing until 1am (even after I'd politely asked them to stop around midnight). Perhaps the property's security could check on things like this? The beach wasn't always clean... we had strong winds so a lot of rubbish and weed coming onto shore (hotel occasionally cleaned it up). Breakfasts (a la carte) were good but not much variety.

Loved the gardens with cats, fish and resident monitor lizard, the quiet atmosphere, the big pool, sea/beach on our doorstep, fire show, and our big room which was nice and clean. There's not a lot to do in the immediate vicinity but some of the local restaurants on the main road are nice (and cheap! - like Silver Spoon - fantastic)... though food at the resort was okay. Staff were friendly and helpful. Would stay again.

We were in the top villa on the hill. I booked knowing lots of steps. The quality of the steps however were a bit precarious as although cement and ridges were quite slippery after rain. Tried several types of shoes and only rock/water shoes did the trick. We also had issues with hot water in our shower but was fine in the basin. Not that you needed hot showers so it didn’t hinder our stay. We just assumed gravity and bring the end of the line. Maybe turning the bed around to face out to the view and so the air con doesn’t blow across the head of the bed would also be helpful.

Lovely and quiet. Great staff. The atmosphere of a smaller resort in a small cove with mainly resort guests on the beach or visitors from neighboring resorts. Children had plenty of space to play away from adults without children. Good cocktails. Absolute value for money for the price. I would stay again in a beach villa. We stayed in the very top villa in the hill. Great view but the 55 steps were a killer in the day time!
