Very modern, clean and easy access to the beach. Staff were all very welcoming and responded to any issues/queries immediately. Definitely recommend a good place to stay if you look for a family relaxation stay.

Rollaway bed was uncomfortable for our third guest—consider two rooms for a party of three. No adults-only pool. Loud upbeat music at pool and beach all day, even during yoga and breakfast; natural sounds would be more relaxing. Bright outdoor lights streamed into our room at night, but the hotel was very accommodating in helping us.

The staff were so lovely and accomodating whenever we had requests and always said hello. Spa was unbelievable - we had facials, massages and body scrubs and can't fault our experience. Food was excellent and had lots of choices. Breakfast and dinner were excellent. A really nice enclosed beach. Great locations to the Main Street and a short drive to fisherman's village.

We had a wonderful time. Everything was perfect and we felt very welcome. The whole staff was super friendly and attentive. The hotel complex and also our room were beautifully designed and spacious. We also enjoyed the pools. Breakfast at the beach was a dream and they had a great variety of choices. When we come back we definitely book again.

The one small drawback was the daybed/second bed. It was a bit firm and uncomfortable for our teenage daughter to sleep on.

From check in to departure, our stay was just wonderful. The staff were all friendly and helpful. I loved the small but thoughtful touches - the welcome drink and towel, the ability to select our pillows and lotion scents, the sandwich and fruit platter as we waited for our room. Our Garden balcony room was fabulous. It was clean and spacious, though the clear glass tub/shower in the middle of the bathroom space meant that we'd have to curtain it off and only one person could be using that space at a time. The Garden pool was lovely and quiet, while the Beach pool and area was luxurious. We had dinner at The Tent and breakfasts at Sexy Fish and they were wonderful. The breakfast buffet had a great varied selection. The resort is a quick walk to restaurants and the busier Chaweng Beach strip. Loved the location - we walked down the beach for more casual lunch and to get a Thai massage (a must do!). This was our first time staying at a five-star hotel and it exceeded our expectations.

That we couldn't stay longer!

My son and I spent 2 wonderful nights at Sala Samui Chaweng. From the selection of our preferred pillows, hand soap and lotion during check in, to addressing our needs during our stay, we experienced 5-star thai hospitality from all the staff we met during our stay. Cleaning was done daily and the bed was really comfortable for a good night's rest. Walking distance to the beach with free kayaks and SUP available for hotel guests. My son particularly enjoyed the swimming pool. Breakfast was a mix of ala carte and buffet style that we enjoyed. The resort was within 15mins walk to Central Samui and 10 mins drive to the airport.

One aspect we noticed during our stay was that it could get a bit noisy at times, as the resort is predominantly family-oriented, with many kids enjoying the facilities. While we appreciated the lively atmosphere, it may not be ideal for those seeking a quieter retreat.

This luxurious resort, located right on the vibrant Chewang Beach, perfectly blends contemporary design with traditional Thai elements. Our villa was beautifully appointed, complete with a private pool, which provided a serene oasis for relaxation. The amenities at the resort were exceptional, particularly the stunning beachfront pool and the full-service spa, where we indulged in some much-needed pampering. The dining options were fantastic, showcasing a delightful mix of local and international cuisine that satisfied our taste buds every time. What truly set this experience apart was the staff; they were next level! Their warmth and attentiveness made us feel truly special throughout our stay. We also loved the lively atmosphere of Chewang Beach, with its shops, bars, and nightlife just a short stroll away.

We chose to stay at Sala for our honeymoon, 6 nights of pure bliss. We were treated with a special surprise upon arrival in our room, champagne, roses and dessert. The staff were amazing and so helpful. There’s app which you can communicate with staff at anytime and ask questions or requests. When checking in you choose pillows, soaps and lotions based on your personal preferences. We had breakfast included and wow… coffee was great, food was a buffet and then you can get things made from the menu. The pools were great, service, food and cocktails by the pool so awesome. When checking out at 12noon they booked us showers at 3pm so we could still use the pool and then we waited the guest lounge with aircon and couches until our driver arrived at 4pm. We had an amazing stay and will definitely be returning when we come back to Koh Samui.

The beach is beautiful but the tide is too low in the morning to be able to swim.

The room was perfect. Super clean and is great to have your own pool. The hotel was very peaceful and close to the airport and all the shops and restaurants. It was the best stay we had in Thailand during our trip. The breakfast at Sexy fish was the best we had in Thailand. With variety every day and a good selection of western food. I will definitely come back.

The area where our room was situated was accessed by walking through an area where scheduled maintenance was taking place which was not revealed at the time of booking or indeed at check in. There was a lot of mess on the floor which we had to walk through (chipped and flaked off paint and plaster) and a strong smell of paint. Our room could not be accessed any other way than passing through this area. I think this was disappointing given we paid over £200 per night and the hotel was by no means fully booked. In fact we were told by staff that it was half empty. The private pool needed to be cleaned every day due to overhanging trees which is completely understandable. We had to specifically request this every day which should have been done as a matter of course because without the cleaning, the pool was unusable due to the number of large leaves and bugs in the pool. There was also maintenance going on out of the back of our pool area which was noisy again this was not disclosed at the time of booking or upon check in. Our room was not properly cleaned each day with lipstick left on a wine glass from the night before and the bath was not properly cleaned each day. Upon arrival we had a lizard in our room which was hiding within the curtains and it ran across the ceiling and into the air conditioning unit. If the room had been properly cleaned before our arrival this would have been found hiding in the curtains. Staff came immediately which was excellent but it was never found. I struggled to relax due to the fact that I was concerned it would reappear as the air conditioning unit was immediately above the bed and my fear was that it would drop on to the bed whilst we were sleeping. No offer to relocate us was made which I found disappointing. Overall this is a very very good hotel which could be excellent with a few tweaks and greater emphasis on 100% customer satisfaction.

We stayed in a garden pool villa room. The room was stunning and the pool was lovely to have. The decor is very modern and superbly set out. The staff were incredibly nice, friendly and professional. The location is really lovely and the breakfast choice is extensive. The grounds on the beach side of the properly are well kept. We were very happy with the kind gestures given for our anniversary. The views from breakfast on the beach side are stunning.

We stayed in another hotel with a similar room which was just as good but paid a much lower nightly rate for that one. I think this hotel is a bit overpriced, especially since we travelled during low season. We also had some uncomfortable nights since the beds are quite hard and if you stay on the ocean side, you can hear some of the street noise.

Stunning hotel with big, bright rooms. The breakfast was phenomenal and we loved having an ocean view. We loved having direct access to the beach and the possibility of renting kayaks/paddel boards. The staff was incredibly friendly and the spa is very good, too!

The beach area in front of this stunning resort is not swimable.

Stayed in a garden pool villa and the cleanliness and amenities of this resort were fabulous. Heaps of pillows and a choice of pillow type just genius! Staff excellent. Breakfast excellent. Not far from street shopping and about a 10 minute walk to the swimming area of Chewang Beach. Quiet and relaxing area of Chaweng. Highly recommend.

The beachfront is not great for swimming but I didn't mind walking to Chaweng beach for a nicer beach. I still enjoyed spending most of my time maximizing my stay at the property.

There were many instagram-worthy spots at the hotel. Staff are very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was superb.

A luxurious hotel, when taking pictures, it comes out very beautiful. The staff is lovely, I asked for a room with a beautiful view and got a room with a beautiful view as I dreamed. The hotel staffs are very lovely, everyone is polite and always smiling, I received good service from everyone.
