Our friends booked a standard room and it was very dark and the window opened on to a brick wall so lights were needed at all times. They offer rooms with city views and imagine they would be the top floor, looking over the top of the adjacent building, although didn't inspect one

Easy walking distance to town.We had a river view with balcony room which was fabulous. The hotel was quiet and had a great cafe/restaurant/bar on the top floor with amazing views. Good restaurants also close by. Water was hot and bed was comfy.

Didn't include breakfast. No lift so very noisy as people seem to yell as they climb the stairs.

Great spot facing the water. You could do better if you don't book a room with a river/sea view. Bit pricey considering breakfast not included.

cheap over night next to river. big clean bed. nice view from the balcony. close to night market. shower had soaps and the ac was wonderful this night. is a great spot if taking any of the local ferries as a quick connection. I travelled around 35 hours before I landed here so I just needed a little break in travels to get some sleep, shower eat and continue the journey. this place is worth the visit. they also had a rooftop bar but be aware only cash.

A really nice hotel, well situated in the town. Bars and restaurants were close to the hotel and it had a cute cafe on the rooftop that sold coffee and beer. We had amazing fish at the stalls on the riverside which was fresh and inexpensive. Room was clean, balcony had great views and air-conditioning was excellent.

Small room. Furniture in the room are showing its age, overall felt a bit dated and worn down. Bed felt soft and lumpy. For one night okay, can't complain for the 1 night value.

Great place for 1 night - we got here in late afternoon from the airport (via Grab taxi) and left the next morning. We had the higher floor room with balcony and river view. Hotel location walkable to the main town areas and the night market, great river views, serene. Coffee staton in room. AC unit and the oscillating worked ok. Nice, modern rooftop resto/bar to have a beer. Nice riverfront for an evening walk, felt safe as families are late picnicking and people fishing.

The waiver sheet we were asked to sign upon arrival stating no outside food or drink was allowed in room. Including water. Would have been nice to have been informed of that beforehand.

The shower had no pressure. There is no lift and we were on the fourth floor with no help offered to carry up luggage. Chose a room with balcony but couldn't use as it had huge electric generators immediately in front.

The only snag was the constant sound of longboat engines throughout the night. It did not disturb us much but it could others.

Our room had a balcony overlooking the river. We enjoyed beautiful views and sunruse over the trees.

The rooms 401 and 402 have great views over the river, large balconies. They are 3 flights ups stairs but worth it. The cafe on the fifth floor also overlooks the river. Has great coffee. Ten minute walk along the quai to the night market.

The 4th floor is a bit stuffy.

The staff were friendly and very helpful with everything! Also was great to realize that they didn't try to charge more than the original price. Taxi plus speedboat ride was great and I was charged the original price, I arrived late and they waited for me. Super sweet! the food at the rooftop restaurant was excellent.

Opening hours of the roof restaurant wasn' t convenient. Too late for breakfast, to late waiting on top of that.

the fact i didnt know how to use the digital pad to open my room after 20h and was stuck outside. Also the fact i was with a view on the roof and the compressor makes noise in the morning.

The pool was beautiful and the outside area is very nicely designed - but hard to relax in due to the crazy stink from the canal that it backs onto - honestly we saw more than 1 dead fish floating ...

Nothing to complain about

The Krabi River Hotel is a great location, right on the river walk, whether you’re staying in Krabi for a few days like us or just passing through. It is a 10 min easy walk to any of the three good night markets. It’s a 5 min walk to the Krabi high speed ferry pier or Longtail boats. 5 min walk to 7/11. Front desk supervisor Pang is friendly, welcoming and a plethora of local information and the two Housekeeping girls, Lek & Sao make sure your room is clean and restocked daily. The beds are comfortable and the shower water pressure is good with plenty of hot water. What more could you ask for? I definitely recommend and would stay here again.
